A completely remolded stadium that can't be beat for watching a ball game. If you want close parking, there early for stadium parking because it you arrive late the aside parking is a good walk. Seats are comfortable and the staff are quick to respond to trouble makers. On one occasion a young "lady" overindulged in beer and got quite loud, raucous, and verbally obscene. I reported her and an officer showed up immediately and she was asked to leave somewhat embarrassing her friends who exited with her. Make no mistake, this is a family venue for those who want to watch a great game and cheer on their team whether they are the home team of visitors.

This place is very impressive. Beautiful, easy to get to and parking not a problem. Seats are great. Food is just so-so considering that it isnt cheap. But worth the trip.

I liked the view from my seating on the third base side. I disliked the fans going back & forth to the concession & rest rooms at all times. It was a constant distraction for me. Fans do not care about others in the stands.

If you love baseball, spring training at Ed Smith Stadium is one you don't want to miss. It is the spring facility for the Baltimore Orioles. It has been totally refurbished in the last couple of years. The fans can get close to the players who sign autographs for the youngsters before the game. The tickets go quickly especially when the Yankees are coming, so I would recommend getting tickets ahead of time. Don't forget the sunscreen!

Never saw a Cincy Red HIT the ball, let alone know how to
play....but Teams from New York, PA, MA et al have done
wonders in this Field. County of Sarasota sacrificed monies
that were for other projects to help local citizens JUST SO THAT
Baseball players could "do their thing" & tourists in-season would spend monies here for game enjoyment! Only for fans.
Bring an iced thermous in case you canNOT reach food stand in time for hydrating yourself in the heavy heat.
