We're locals and have been to Seven Hills at least a half dozen times since it opened, including multiples times for the lunch buffet. We have never been disappointed. In fact, we were there this past Sunday and I had what was one of the best Chicken Tikka Masalas I've ever had anywhere (and I've eaten a lot of Indian food in several countries.) Prices are reasonable, service is good, the atmosphere is appealing, and there is plenty of variety. We've met couples there for a night out and I've held a business meeting there as well. It's always a treat.

After doing some research that this place was fairly new and all we went there for a Sunday lunch buffet becoz all other Indian restaurants was closed....oh boy!! what a disappointment. The menu items on the buffet was very limited, no food on them and the taste is nothing close to what it should be. The buffet closes at 2:30 PM and we went around 1:15PM and already there was barely any food. Butter chicken had no chicken in them and Goat curry really had any goat. There were no tandoori chicken, we had to ask that please bring some.
Being an Indian, I feel bad to say this is not what an Indian restaurant is supposed to be or should it taste like this. There was hardly any waiter to attend, the manager was the one going in the kitchen bringing naan, rice. Me and my wife barely could eat anything for 2 reasons, there was barely anything to eat and the food tasted like crap. If this restaurant has opened oct 2011 and within less than a year this is the condition...then I highly doubt it can stay afloat.

Went once for the lunch buffet, and found it OK, but as it was at the end of the lunch hours, the dishes were somewhat dry, and didn't get refilled.

Went recently for dinner, and found the food to be decent (but in no way outstanding), the service poor, and the owner(?) downright surly when we used the voucher we had purchased from Living Social, and had not ordered lots more than what the voucher covered. The nan came after we had finished the entree and after we asked about it three times.

There are a few other Indian restaurants in town, and that's where we will be going from now on!

I had enjoyed the buffet at lunch(especially the tandoori chicken and the butter chicken) and bought a certificate for dinner on LivingSocial when the offer appeared.
Our dinner choice of the tandooi sampler was good. However, we had to ask several times before our order of naan bread appeared, even though the restaurant was more than half empty.
But the rudeness of the owner is the reason we will not return. He acted as if he disdained us for using the certificate. He made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. There are other Indian restaurants in town and we will give them our future business.

Find another place to eat. The service was slow Food was not appetizing and not well presented it was anything but fresh, nor was it tasty. The atmosphere reminded me of some hell hole in India crowded with people and full of dirt. It really was a bad experience
