We got discount ticket prices for opening weekend and were pretty disappointed. First of all they couldn't even sell out on a Sunday afternoon with discounted prices so I can't imagine what attendance was like mid-week at full price. The acts were pretty lame: a woman riding a horse, dogs jumping through hoops, etc. No major animal act at all. Then the juggler, tightrope walker and even the trapeze artists all made errors as other reviewers have noted. The caliber of the performers just wasn't that high overall this year. We won't be going back next February.

I visited a Big Top circus many years ago and it was amazing. I remember the elephants being led in right in front of our bleachers. But there were no elephants in this circus at all. There were some good acts but nothing really exciting until the end when the acrobat act began. That was magnificent and saved the show in my opinion. Tickets are fairly reasonable but you can get stuck behind one of the four large poles. The acts should all take place in the very center of the ring so those on the far sides can see it. The only animals were two beautiful horses and a handful of dogs that weren't very talented. One visit is enough for a lifetime in my opinion.

Took my two five year old granddaughters to their first circus experience and it was a big success. The large white tent with red trim is reminiscent of a visit to the circus before it was held in a large indoor venue. The performers were of a good caliber and the acts for the most part held our interest and were very varied. I look forward to next years circus visit.

If you've seen Circus Smirkus or Cirque du Soleil, don't attend this show expecting the same calibre of polished performances. By the time the show got to the final act -- a high flying trapeze act -- I was very relieved to see a net given the number of fumbles and falls that had preceded this act. Particularly notable (not in a good way) was the tightrope walker who appeared nervous and fell repeatedly.

There was a certain charm to some of the acts (particularly the adorable dogs) and the crossbow artist was impressive, but overall we were disappointed.

Even at a Saturday matinee, there were many empty seats so likely no need to book in advance.

There's a bit of old time, small town to this circus - in the very best sense. Everyone involved is smiling and friendly, all of the seating is relatively close to the performance ring, and the show is staged and conducted in a classic circus manner. The acts ranged from outstanding [Chinese dance acrobats, several of the jugglers] to very good - however all were professionally performed with great energy and enthusiasm. There are 2 hours of performances plus a 20 minute intermission. Nearly all the acts appeal to both adults [may bring back many memories] and children - perhaps with the exception of one clown act, which was more for small kids. In summary, a great way to experience a disappearing art form for a reasonable charge.
