Saw their production of Tom Jones in the Gompertz Theatre. Not really into farce but it was charmingly done, with realistic English accents!

“Plays, cabarets and lots of fun!”
Reviewed 27 April 2014

The entertainment is very good and moderately priced. It is difficult to get good seats and we do not eat there any more because by the time the food gets to you it's cold.

“Outstanding Talents”
Reviewed 25 April 2014

We just saw the "Poems, Prayers and Promises" show at the Goldstein Cabaret venue of the Florida Studio Theatre. It was thoroughly entertaining, with great voices and talented musicians. The 5 person ensemble song with skill and feeling, in some instances surpassing the performances of the original artists. Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" was especially soulful and sweet. All of the singers were great musicians. Two, Sarah Hund and Daniel Emond, played multiple instruments, including the violin, guitar, keyboard, piano, banjo (I probably left out a few).
The venue was intimate, without a bad seat in the house. The choice of singing the songs of some of the great storytellers (singer/song writers) of the 70's was excellent. It's really hard to beat music written by John Denver, Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Harry Chapin and Dolly Partin. Excellent production!

“Thoroughly entertaining!”
Reviewed 19 April 2014

We loved the cabaret show of "Poems, Prayers, and Promises" this evening. Each cast member was uniquely talented, and the mix of voices and instrumentation was excellent. Their rendition of "Bridge over Troubled Waters" was especially moving. There is no bad seat in this intimate venue. We can't wait to purchase season tickets for next season.

“Other cities PLEASE take note”
Reviewed 18 April 2014

When we retired to the Tampa Bay area we wanted to find out about live theatre in the area. We were told check out the FST first. Do yourself a favor and get season tickets from the get go. Go online and check out the prices for tickets, dinners, and beverages. You will be amazed. Note: During "season" buy your tickets ASAP or you will be disappointed.
