“Good for quick lunch”
Reviewed 13 February 2014

Good selection for quick Mexican lunch. Place is a little dated as is the menu. Tacos and salads were all pretty good (rice a little dry), but nothing memorable. Decent service.

“Needs Remodeling and better Food”
Reviewed 12 February 2014

Too bad this used to be fantastic. But the last two times it appeared to be run down, dirty and the food tasted like it came out of a can. Margaritas were very weak also. Server was good and friendly. Get it together Don Pablo...too much competition to be a slacker.

“Going Downhill”
Reviewed 30 November 2013

We have been to Don Pablo's a few times and have always enjoyed it. Unfortunately, it appears they are going downhill. Server was pleasant but said he was new. He was obviously overwhelmed with the handful of tables. We waited extremely long time for our food. The table next to us came in 20-30 minutes after us and had their food before we did.

Manager came over and recognized that we had an extremely long wait time and apologized but ultimately offered nothing. Even after the apology we had bad service (i.e. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup and waited 10 minutes after the soup came for them to bring me a soup spoon. waited 10 minutes for a second bowl of soup and it didn't come with the tortillas, waited too long for refills, waited too long for the check, waited too long to pay the check etc etc...

The manager should have been more involved with helping his new staff and offering something (i.e. free appetizer, free dessert) when customers have a bad experience.

“Horrible”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

This was our first time eating at this restaurant, and it was not a pleasurable one. The service was very slow, the drinks from the bar took forever to arrive. The sever was not very good, she said she was new, but not new to being a server. We asked from the start we wanted separate checks which she majorly screwed up.
There were seven of us who all ordered different meals, and all of us were not well that night and into the next day. Needless to say, we will not being going back there. I am never one to complain, however this was not a good experience. They need to clean up their act....literally!

“Craving Mexican - but disappointed”
Reviewed 10 November 2013

Stopped for lunch as my son was craving Mexican. He was curious about the fish tacos and ordered with 'soft' shell - I ordered the chicken quesadilla and a side of veggies. When I asked what the veggies were, the server said, 'Ummmmm, spinach and, ummmmm, some peppers? I think?" I asked how they were prepared and she said, "Oh, they're definitely cooked...not raw." Well, I had HOPED they were grilled or sauteed - they were soggy and in some sort of liquid that the server couldn't identify. I took one bite and no more. My son's tacos arrived with the fish in a semi-filet form, rather than pieces, which one would expect for a taco...and the single, long piece was just lying on a few shreds of lettuce and tomato on the taco tortilla. Service was especially slow, as well. The place wasn't busy - yet, having been seated at 1:45 and no food served until almost 2:30? NOT a place to go for a 'quick lunch'...
