We stayed at this Comfort Suites during a trip to Florida for our 25th Wedding anniversary. We didn't have reservations, however we prefer Choice hotels so we stopped and lucked out with a room. The front deck people were very nice, including Judy, who was exceptionally friendly yet professional. The room itself, was a king bed on the second floor. This hotel was so new, it still had a new hotel smell, which was not a bad thing. The rooms are beautifully decorated with many upgrades you don't find in other hotels, including reading lights on both sides of the bed besides the regular lamp, as well as extra outlets for plugging in cell phones or tablets. The beds were very comfortable, with both firm and soft pillows. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom. We did not get a chance to use the pool or hottub, however I did go out to see them, and noticed that they both have a "lift" (if that's what it's called) to get handicapped people into them. I think that is just great! We were in and out over the several days we stayed, and were always greeted by the person at the front desk. The breakfast is plentiful with many options even other Choice hotels don't have. The only glitch in our entire stay was breakfast on Sunday morning, where I imagine they weren't prepared for the volume of people eating breakfast at the hotel that morning. They even opened a meeting room so there would be enough seating for everyone! We kept being told "It will be out in a minute" when things ran out, for example waffle batter and coffee. We took it in stride, considering the place had not even been open for a week yet! I think they just need to get ahead before the rush and they'll be fine. All in all a very nice place to stay, with friendly people working there! Oh I'm not sure what his job is, but Christin (Not sure of the spelling) was also helpful and friendly. We saw him doing several different jobs during our stay, which is why I'm not sure exactly what his job is. I would deftinitely recommend this hotel to everyone, and will be staying there again on our next trip to Sarasota!!
