We're spoiled having lived in NYC for most of our lives we know what fine Chinese cuisine is - when done well it is one of the great cuisines of the world. The spicing is impeccable, the veggies not overcooked, not too much oil etc. There are few Chinese restaurants in this area and evidently few people demanding a higher level of cuisine. The hot and sour soup somehow was sweet. It wasn't supposed to be sweet and sour but it was. Not sufficiently acidic either. Had to add vinegar. The Singapore Curry Noodles had almost no curry and almost no flavor. At least it was not too oily. My scallops & veggies in garlic sauce was watery, veggies overcooked, few scallops, little garlic. I asked for it hot hot but they clearly ignored me. Egg roll standard defrosted. Surprisingly limited menu. I wanted and asked for chow fun noodles which is a standard in most restaurants but they said they don't do it here. Friendly staff and service.
