I like Hungry Harry's because it's not too smoky as far as BBQ goes. I've had the pulled pork and pulled chicken and advise you to stick with the pulled pork sandwich special. The coleslaw is good the mac and cheese and beans are average, the chicken was super dry which they tried to fix with way too much BBQ sauce. Atmosphere is definitely southern backyard BBQ and so is the clientele. It's fine for a work lunch though if there isn't many choices in the area. Always a good crowd there.

Excellent service! Excellent proper Bar-B-Que.
All the BBQ staples from apps through dessert.
Enjoyed each dish & are awaiting a sweet (peach cobbler ala mode) that I just bit into and it's delicious!
They've got a screened porch with 2 picnic bench tables that pup parents can bring the furkids!
They're very pup friendly.
We will be back.....!

Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Good size portions and tasty. It sometimes gets a little loud. Good experience.

Found Hungry Harry's online while staying overnight in Seffner. Driving there we discovered it was next door to Hungry Howie's (no relationship!). We were greeted warmly and our waitress made suggestions which we followed ordering the BBQ sampler served with a large St. Louis rib, a thigh, pulled pork, shredded brisket with 6 choices of sauces and 2 sides, large serving of perfectly cooked fried okra and collards with corn muffin. We saw another guest ordered fresh banana pudding so we did the same which was just like my mom made! Delicious food, but know you are not in Palm Beach. The decor has probably never been changed. Very popular place with many eating in, but with many carry outs as well.

We visiting from out-of-town, and tried this out based on good reviews. The area is sketchy, but we felt secure dining a few doors down from the survivalist store. I ordered the sampler platter and especially liked the smoked chicken. It was such a treat to get some Southern greens, cornbread and fried okra on the side, and kids liked the mac/cheese. Others liked the ribs, and one family liked the family meal (bbq sandwiches with family-portion sides.) Service was friendly/okay, but check your bill as our group of 10 warranted a 20% automatic tip, which we were not told about and I could have easily double-tipped. The food was great and though there was nothing wrong with service/location, I'd probably order to-go next time if that was a viable option.
