“Step out your door onto the beach!”

Beautiful view of the ocean and clean gorgeous beach. The units are privately owned and decorated so keep that in mind when choosing. Perfect for two, king bed studios. Awesome beach attendant with complimentary chairs and umbrellas for you. The sea turtles prefer this spot too, many protected nests to watch. Wish we had been there for a hatching. Loved it!

Let me first tell you that it's taken me a year to "cool off" from the MESS we experienced at Crescent Towers/ CT. For over 12 years my husband and I have enjoyed Crescent Towers. We've never cared for fancy...we want to simply be able to walk out onto the beach with our morning coffee. We are from Ohio (older, go-to-bed at midnight adults) and for years CT had a wonderful manager, until Kathy took over. I could go on-and-on with our story and what we experienced last year, but the bottom line is this: If I owned a unit in the CT complex...I would demand the manager be replaced (reviewed regularly at minimum and I would welcome and encourage guest feedback/response). If you upset her in any way and she doesn't (or one of her close staff) doesn't like you....you aren't going to be able to make a reservation for the following year before you leave. It doesn't matter how many years you've been going there...even if you are quiet, a regular and have become friends with regulars....none of that matters. You dare not get stains on linens...and even be willing to pay accordingly - you might experience the "wrath of Kath". This year we will enjoy a 3 story condo just steps away from CT (that costs more)....and we will pop over to CT to say hello to friends who book around the same time as we do every year...and we will share our story with them. Shame on you Kathy, and shame on you CT for not having a clearly stated reservation policy to protect your wonderful, dedicated, die-hard guests - there is still no calendar or clearly-stated reservation policy on your website. Kathy gets to decide if you'll come back. Your reservation policy is a crazy combination of hotel/time-share philosophy that is so ridiculous and confusing...and then defined/understood and translated to the guest based on the staff member's personal preference and feelings- I can't even wrap my head around it all. I am a woman who is soooo disappointed in the ladies that are running CT. It's a wonderful, retro, you-can-hear the person above you place that has a unique charm that we loved. Siesta Key has way too many options to return after such a bad experience. Good luck to future visitors and make sure you are beyond friendly to manager! CT condo owners, you need to pay closer attention and be more involved.

This property is one of the finest cottage Units on Crescent Beach. It happens to be only two stories high and we were right on the ocean front side. You drive to your front door, walk throught the lanai, through a fully stocked kitchen, with all the appliances you would ever need. Carry your self past the king size bed, into the living room, out the Lanai and as your breath is carried away-----you are on the best beach anywhere. Love this complex and highly recommend it to one and all. We come back, year after year. This one is for you, Cathy.

The younger twin

Room Tip: Ocean Front Units are our first choice.

Stayed here for a week in an oceanfront, 2nd floor unit. We couldn't have found a better place to stay in Siesta Key simply because of the location, which is truly right on the beach, and as a low-rise place with only two floors, there are no elevators to deal with. You really get the sense that you are right there on the beach. I loved sitting on the screened-in porch in the evening and watching the sunset over the ocean! And there is no more beautiful beach in the world than on Siesta Key, if you ask me.

Our unit had spartan furnishings and decorations; felt more like a motel room than a condo. However, it was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. We slept great every night. Nice flat screen television and comfortable living room furniture. Every unit is different so be sure to check the photos online before you book.

I was glad we were on the top floor because the bottom floor units didn't seem to have as much privacy, with their doors opening right up onto the patio and beach. However, if you want to just walk out your door onto the beach, then stay on the 1st floor. Another drawback to being on the 1st floor could be the sound of people walking around in the room above you; they even give you a little handout when you check in asking 2nd floor guests to walk quietly at night due to it being an old building with poor soundproofing.

We got up early each morning to secure chairs and an umbrella right in front of the water. The man who sets them up every day is very friendly and will tell you all kinds of tips for things to see and do in the area. Be sure to tip him-- he works hard!

The place also has a small but very clean saltwater pool. We enjoyed going there in the late afternoons and getting to know some of the other guests, many of whom clearly return the same week year after year and know one another. Crescent Towers has a wonderful, old-fashioned feel to it. Very laid-back!

My only quibble with the place was how cheap they were in terms of providing towels and other supplies. Three very thin white bath towels was it. No beach towels; luckily we brought our own. Our unit didn't even have paper towels in the kitchen, nor did it have anything to clean dishes with other than one dish rag.

But all in all-- a wonderful vacation and a delightful little property! We will be back!

We stayed at Cresent Towers ( 2 floors High!) & it was a most restful, peaceful week. Jay the 'beach guy' set up chairs each am, and gave us helpful tips for places to go to eat, have cocktails. The beach is superb, water warm, sand cool to the feet, clean, clean, clean... Our unit was #34 and set up with everything we could need, coffee maker, toaster. We were with a group, and we all beached each am; pooled in the pm ( 4pm ish) and relaxed, grilled out, and went to dinner a couple nights. Lobster Pot once and Jacks marina ( ?) once. food standard but all staff were friendly. Claytons' was awesome ( lunch/breakfast) waitress was a hoot.... All in all 15 very satisfied people from MA, and we rebooked for next year...

Room Tip: Depends on your preference. Some of our group were on 1st floor. Most on 2nd.. not noisy no elevato...

The key to crescent towers is location, location, location. There are several small improvements needed, especially as the price continues to escalate. The units are varied in quality. Some are very updated and others are just dated. There seems to be no system for reservations other than the whims of who you talk to. If you get a unit with an owner who cares about keeping the unit nice, this is a wonderful place. There are many rules, but it is nice that behaviors do not infringe on others good time. They do need very much to ban smoking on the patio. The smoke drifts in no matter where the smokers stand. This ruins the opportunity to fully use the outside space. I do not agree that the outside patio tables should be only for downstairs units. The beach in front is not ever really crowded and mostly quiet at night. The a/c units are old and noisy and should be replaced. All units should have the newer kitchens, not just a select few.

We booked late and as a result of a cancellation got the absolute best beachfront property we have ever stayed in. We were in Unit 1...open the door and we were on the beach. Because it's a smaller facility than surrounding ones our beach was never crowded. They have a man that manages the chairs and umbrellas and is so accommodating that he will locate them wherever you want.

Unit itself was totally updated with comfortable furnishings and beachfront chic decorating. There's a screened lanai for breakfast "on the beach" and sunset viewing. King bedroom area could be separated from living room by a divider. Kitchen, although we didn't use it much, was fully stocked and up to date. A fantastic place!

Room Tip: Go beachfront if a unit is available.
