My wife and I have enjoyed staying at Crescent Towers for the last 8 years. After reading the recent review of the facility by “Margot-Michael”, I felt that a response from another “regular” guest would be appropriate and necessary.
As we do, Margot-Michael recognizes and appreciates Crescent Tower’s “unique charm.” She does, however, due to a reservation problem, apparently have a personal issue with Kathy, the manager. I am not aware of the details of the issue but I am able to say that the procedure for making reservations at Crescent Towers is quite uncomplicated: If you enjoyed your stay and would like to return at the same time next season, walk in the office prior to heading home, check unit availability, and confirm a reservation with a deposit payment.
In regard to management --- Kathy is the manager. She does not set the policies or make the rules but it is her job to enforce them. Not an easy or enviable task when one considers the number of people and personalities that visit Crescent Towers. The fact is that most guests realize that Kathy does a remarkable job and appreciate her efforts in maintaining an environment that results in repeat bookings. Proof of that appreciation was indirectly stated by Margot Michael when she mentioned Crescent Tower’s “wonderful, dedicated, die-hard guests” and “friends who book around the same time every year.” My wife and I are happy to be among them. Owners and management are doing something right.
