“High end luxury on the beach”
Reviewed 6 March 2014

Beautiful condos, steps away from the beach. 2000+ sq ft, 3 bedrooms, great kitchen with Wolf and sub zero appliances. Lots of great local restaurants within walking distance. amazing beaches to walk for miles.the rates are high but this is a first class facility. We'll staffed and professional. We'll worth the money and plan to go back.

This is a first class resort on one of the nicest beaches on the gulf. Everything in our 2 bedroom, 3 bath condo was luxurious. If you are looking for an exceptional spot on the beach then try this resort. The kitchen was fully equipped with professional appliances (Wolf, Subzero, etc). The master bath was amazing. The shower was huge with multiple showerheads. Every possible thing that you may need was there. Continental breakfast everyday was great - the only thing lacking was they were waiting for a delivery of fresh fruit. The beach is beautiful and the beach toys (kayaks, etc) that are available were great. The resort is in walking distance to a number of things. We walked to dinner one night at Clayton's - seemed liked a local place - everyone knew each other. The food was very good, a nice casual spot after a day at the beach. The staff at the resort was very friendly and helpful. Sarasota and St Armand Circle are only a short drive. There you will find a variety of fine restaurants and shopping. We also spent a day at the Ringling Museum that was very interesting.

Last time we stayed on Siesta Key, we stayed at a friend's condo and looked at the Hyatt, saying, "that's where we want to stay next time!" Are we ever glad we did! These are "vacation residences" -- so much nicer than your average condo, with fantastic service on top of it all. Our unit faced inland, no biggie, with a lovely balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee and evening drinks. We had a two-bedroom plus den, with three baths, full kitchen, living and dining rooms, and a washer/dryer in unit. A Keurig coffemaker with a selection of coffees was ready to go in our kitchen, but we did utilize the wonderful shopping service through Morton's (a locally famous gourmet grocery/catering company) for some basics, wine, and some of their yummy desserts!

The hotel is limited service, meaning they have a continental breakfast with baked goods and some fruit. There is hot oatmeal and a juicer in the anteroom, and next time, I'll order some carrots and mangos, etc. from Morton's to juice in that juicer! There is no room service, but you can get delivery from area restaurants, or cook in your own fabulous kitchen (Wolf Range, Sub-Zero fridge…). There is a lovely pool with cabanas, a large hot tub, and a very nice fire pit in addition to the main attraction: Siesta Key Beach. The beach is amazing -- soft waves, great shells in the morning, and that sugar-sand beach! I walked every morning, and one morning was lucky enough to see dolphins jumping clear out of the water, just yards off the shore! After my walk, a quick stop in the elevator lobby to grab an ice-cold water and a gym towel to dry off, and a huge smile after the best start to my day, ever!

Oh, but it gets better, because after my walk, I get to take a shower or bath in that five-star, no, make that a SIX STAR bathroom! The shower, with its four rainfall showerheads, hand-held shower head, AND fixed shower head, plus generously sized bench, is a Religious Experience. Oh. My. God. And the bathtub -- a Kohler deep soaking tub with bubbles, not jets. Oh, heaven on earth! And to complete your bathroom-spa experience, a Toto toilet with heated seat and heated water jets. The guest room bath had a shower only, but it had the rain jets in the ceiling as well, while the third bath had a basic shower only (with some beautiful tile work, by the way).

Let me clarify, when I say Limited Service, that in no way applies to the staff. What a fantastic staff, from the valet staff to the front desk staff to the lounge staff…beach helpers, housekeeping…every individual staff member was beyond friendly and helpful. Obviously a well-managed facility and staff. Oh, our unit was spotless, furnishings were upscale, linens were Frette.

When I first looked at the price, I thought it was pricey, but then when I compared the cost of two superior beachfront hotel rooms, this was a bargain.

Some notes: coffee was the only comestible provided in the unit. The guest is responsible for all other foodstuffs. There were a couple travel-size boxes of Tide with the washer (thank you!), and there is a nice picnic bag in the kitchen closet for outings to the beach. There are quite a few good restaurants on the Key and the Mainland, and a couple decent restaurants right across the street. The little Crescent Grocery is super friendly and has a good wine selection. The pool bar has food from noon to five each day, but we enjoyed our explorations to St. Armand's and downtown so much, we didn't have a chance to sample.

We stayed in Unit 501. It was fantastic. Three bedrooms, a corner unit, with a commanding view of the ocean. I reserved and paid for an ocean view room, but was upgraded to a "Premium" ocean view. I am not sure how this happened as it may have been because of my Diamond status. The service here is the best I have experienced. The quality of the furnishings is impeccable. Yes, it is $600 a night, therefore, not for everyone. But if you want the best, this is it.

Nice location in an exclusive residential type area rather than on the vulgar 'vegas strip' a little further north, but close enough to these fleshpots to nip out when the teens need a burger fix. A short walk across the road ( 250 yds) to Curts' shack ... We stayed as a family over New Year. It was a beautifully furnished, spacious apartment. With direct access to the beach- which is something else! fabulous brilliant white sand safe shallow beach etc etc...(We're from Britain so excuse our wonderment!) Condo is smallish = exclusive, helpful staff, and free beach toys, bikes and canoes etc to entertain kids on and off the beach . Small pool for the sea-wary with nice bar.

No restaurant on site but plenty around.

If you have been to Siesta Key than you know how hard it is to find full service hotel… They don't exist and this place isn't one either but they so a good job. Continental breakfast is provided, the bar has sandwiches for lunch..Dinner is on your own someplace on the island. We asked for a recommendation on an italian place that delivers and Valentino's was great. The place only has something like 44 units so it is really never that crowded. Our room(301) is a 2BR/3BA and is huge. The kitchen and bathrooms are amazing, on par with high end Vegas hotels. We have a balcony, a small one with a tree front and center. Blocks the view of the ocean…. Seems for over $600 per night you should have an unobstructed view of the ocean especially when I paid for an ocean view. For that reason only I wouldn't stay in this room ever again. The hotel however is a winner. Rating would be excellent if they had dinner on site and the tree didn't block my view. Staff is very very friendly, service is what you would expect…If you can get past the price you'll love the place.
