Love to visit the beaches of Siesta Key, FL. This one is a rough one for swimming, but folks love to fish, sunbath, and just enjoy nature here!

“Interesting beach”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

We drove to see this beach on purpose. It is a little out of the way. The sand is more black than white and a little more like gravel. This is not a flat beach, it does slope a little as you are coming down to it. Not nearly as busy as other beaches in the area. Also the water seems a little more murkey.

“Sea shells a plenty!”
Reviewed 30 May 2014

If you want to find sea shells, this is the place to go! My husband has a mission to find a BIG conch shell, and I think that this may be the place he'll find it eventually!

“Great for Shells”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

lots of good shells found by the family, it has a restroom, showers and parking. Sand is grey with a mis of colors so dont expect white sand, it is also course sand. a interesting dip into the water so it is slightly steep at the beach. not something you can just stand in and get a little wet. lots of shells at the bottom. pretty teal water though.
