We have visited Siesta Key several times (GREAT beach, btw) and have stayed at different hotels & motels. This time we tried the Siesta Palms on the recommendation of a friend and weren't disappointed. The Koch family (that owns & operates both the Siesta Key Inn & the newly renovated Siesta Palms) are 30+ year pros at providing spotless, modern & ridiculously comfortable rooms. The service never ended during the time we were there. MaryAnn checked us in, anticipated all of our needs & even stored our golf clubs that had been unintentionally shipped a day ahead of our arrival.

Our accommodations (a 2 bedroom suite) was part of a total renovation of the property. New cabinetry & appliances, a beautiful pool w/ therapy jets, waterfall & the tropical surroundings made relaxation part of the total package. Mike Koch, the 2nd generation owner w/ his sister MaryAnn, would stop & chat while making his rounds. He would always ask if we needed anything & his suggestions for things to do showed his local knowledge (i.e Daiquiri Deck, Captain Curt's, Serenoa Golf Club & Owens Fish Camp). The attention to detail seemed effortless (to us) but it never stopped and never felt intrusive.

Our vacation soon moved on to Orlando, but had we known how great the south end of Siesta Key Beach was or how relaxing our time at Siesta Palms would be, we might have stayed a couple of more days. Next time we will!

Thank you Koch family for making our Florida vacation exceptionally wonderful! My girlfriend and I along with my parents stayed in the 2 bedroom unit on the second floor. The spacious unit had all the comforts of home with all the amenities one would require. They thought of absolutely everything. It was clean as a whistle and had some of the comfiest beds we have ever slept on while traveling. The front and back verandas were wonderful as they had some amazing views of the lush foliage and the beautiful pool area. We would just sit in the morning with our coffees and contently watch the many Florida birds fly into the Palms. The Siesta Key Inn has an ideal location with only a 3 minute walk to beautiful Crescent beach with sand as soft as powder! Overall, we can't say enough about Mary-Ann and Mike's Florida Oasis and will surely return when we get the chance. Please stay here if you want a truly relaxing getaway, surrounded by beautiful nature and wonderful people. Thank you for the memories

We have been coming to siesta key inn for a number of years now and it's like coming 'home'. We are always made very welcome and our accommodation is maintained to a very high standard with everything you could want, even down to the beach equipment. It is a wonderful area to explore especially Myakka Park with acres of woodland and a 'must' is going out on the lake on the air boat. Always come away feeling relaxed and can't wait for 2015.

Room Tip: Regal suite is very very nice

My family and I just recently stayed at the Siesta Key Inn for 2 weeks and as always (we have been staying with the Koch's for years) it was the perfect vacation get away. What is particularly lovely about the Siesta Key Inn is that you instantly feel home when you arrive. The apartments don't feel anonymous at all (like you often have in hotels and rental apartments) and are decorated with a beachy charme. The kitchen stores everything you need and in addition there is also a private pool surrounded by beautiful palm trees. The beach is only a 1.5 minute walk away and perfect for a long jog in the morning. The next publix supermarket is also just a 5 minute drive away and in general there are a lot of great restaurants in the area if you dont feel like cooking. We have known the Koch family for many years now and always love coming back and catching up. My family and I are looking forward to many more great vacations at the Siesta Key Inn.

We just completed our spring break week at Siesta Key Inn which was delightful. We felt it was the perfectly situated location, just a minute or two walk down a quiet road to the best shelling area of the beach. This made for easy and quick access between the beach and home. They had beach chairs and umbrellas for our use which really saved us with packing. The very clean and lovely heated pool and hot tub situated in an idyllic garden landscape felt so relaxing and was just out our back door on a bricked patio with a koi pond. Beds slept well, kitchen fully stocked, paper products and dish soap supplied. They have a coin laundry right on site and even supply the detergent! Daily towel service including beach towels and replacement shampoo/soaps was prompt and helpful. I will add to some other reviews that being on the ground floor did add the experience of hearing a lot of foot steps from above which did seem oddly heavy at times quite early in the morning. I would recommend bringing a white noise maker for light sleepers on the ground floor as it awakened me but not the rest of my family.

Just returned from a relaxing week at the Siesta Key Inn. The rooms have been recently remodeled - looking nothing like those on their website (although, I thought those rooms looked fine!). The place was completely stocked with everything you would need - which is kind of unique for places in this area. Towels - replenished daily if you want. Beach chairs, umbrellas. We even found a cooler to take to the beach! Coffee, tea, fully stocked kitchen. And the location is perfect. Just a few steps to the beach (it looks much farther away if you look on Google maps, but trust me, it's very close.)

The only complaint was the amount of noise we could hear coming from the room above. But I really think that was more a factor of the people upstairs being very, very heavy walkers (it sounded at times like they were actually exercise-walking!). Overall, a really wonderful stay!

The inn is located just up the street from Siesta Key Beach so you can not beat the location..It is clean and comfortable with full kitchen. Beds are comfortable. My only complaint would be we were on bottom floor and we heard every footstep above us. So next time I will request an upper room.
