Wow! Can I just say that this is everything you want in a resort. We traveled for business and pleasure. The resort was very close to everywhere we needed to be. Our rooms had every accommodation imaginable. At one point I told my husband that the only thing missing was a broom to sweep up the sand that we brought in from the beach, then I opened the closet and what falls into my hand? -A broom. The front desk staff was so helpful & anything I asked for they went more than out of their way to accommodate... and did so at no extra charge for things that most hotels nickel & dime you on. Just a wonderful trip in its entirety & I am already looking to book again in the next couple of months.

My wife and I stayed for a 3 night getaway, November of 2009. After looking at all of the hotels on or near the beach, we trusted the reviews we read at TripAdvisor. We were blown away at the beauty and coziness of this wonderful resort. It is truly a throwback to a simpler time, and really makes you slow down and enjoy your surroundings. Although we were only there a short time, we enjoyed all that the resort and the local area had to offer. We walked to dinner at Javier's, which was wonderful, had cocktails at the Tiki bar, which is walking distance from the resort, shopped, grilled out, and of course spent a lot of time on the beach. The sand is indescribable. The room, while small, was perfect for our stay, and we plan on coming back for a week this year. All of the appointments in the rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. We felt recharged and were sorry to leave, but the thought of returning keeps a smile on our faces!

The hotel is small and charming. Very clean. The beach was great and the "short walk" is really very short. We will stay there again. The only drawback is the parking is tight so larger vehicles barely fit in the places.

This place had everything we needed for a few days by the beautiful Crescent beach. It was really quiet (even though it was just after Easter), a short stroll to the best beach I have ever been on and across the road from Capt Curts bar and restaurant! Who could ask for more? We LOVED it.

My wife and I stayed at the Sara Sea Beach Resort for a three-day stay
that mixed business and pleasure. Everything in the room
was new, but from the outside it looked like a quaint Mom-and-Pop motel
motor-lodge from the '60s. The grounds were manicured to perfection.
The hotel is a two-minute walk to the beach, on the same side
of the street.

We stayed in a King Bed Boutique. It had a full kitchen,
with dishwasher. Fresh flowers greeted us when we
arrived. The managers kindly supplied us with a food blender
at our request. The room had the quietest unit air conditioner
and the best shower I have ever experienced for a small hotel.

A few small negatives: The parking area was extremely
crowded. There was no night stand on the wall side of the bed,
so there was no place to put my glasses. Also no reading
light on that side of the bed.

Closet space was extremely limited. (We had to store our
luggage in our car.) Bathroom was a bit small, but adequate
for us. (A person with the girth of a 250 pounder or heavier
might have a problem getting to the toilet).

Bottom line: This is a very good small motor-lodge-type motel, with
good value and excellent amenities for the money,
when compared to larger chain hotels. We look forward to
returning there in the future.

Caution: Read their cancellation policy carefully before
booking your reservation.

beautiful tropical landscape, clean and comfortable rooms, great staff. Genl. Mgr. Dawn runs a great resort for the 25 years we have been staying here.
