“Absolutely Wonderful Villas!!!”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

My husband and I just returned yesterday from 7 glorious days of sun & fun on Siesta Key!!! From all of the reviews, I knew the beach was going to be spectacular, but selecting a decent place to stay isn't always as easy. When looking for a place to stay, It's usually a "spin of the wheel" as to the quality/cleanliness/comfort of a potential vacation rental. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at The Casa Blanca! Everthing was exceptionally neat and clean and well taken care of.
All of the villas are bright white with terracotta roofs. Most have screened in porches. You park right outside your villa. Which makes it so much easier, especially when loading or unloading your luggage.
We stayed in villa C10, which was located midway between the pool and the beach. Each villa is privately owned, therefore each are decorated differently by the individual owners. Go to the website to look at the photos of all the units available for rent to find the one that best suits your needs & tastes. In addition to the villas, there are oceanfront condos too. I imagine they are snapped up quickly.
Our C10 villa was amazing!! It was immaculate inside & out with beautiful landscaping.
The living room and dining area are spacious and open to each other.
The 1 bedroom, 1 bath villa is homey, well furnished with up to date traditional furniture in neutral colors with a few subtle touches of a palm tree theme. Large ceramic tiles and white 2" plantation blinds are throughout the villa. Telephones in the kitchen and bedroom with free local calls, (not sure about long distance). C10 also has its own wi-fi aside from the wi-fi available for the whole property.
The living room has a nice leather sofa that pulls out for additional sleeping, matching love seat, 2 other comfortable leather chairs, glass top coffee & end tables, table and floor lamps and a large flat screen tv with cable. It has a double wide sliding glass door that opens to the screened in porch/lanai.
The dining area has a round glass top table with bronze wrought iron chairs with padded cloth seats. The back door is in this area.
The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, The range has a smooth top, over the range microwave. Dishwasher, ice maker, garbage disposal, toaster, toaster oven, blender and nice cabinets with granite countertops. Kitchen is fully stocked with most everything you might need to prepare full meals. We saved a lot by fixing several meals "at home". Stop by the Publix (seem to be one every few blocks!) and grab the essentials. Their deli has some very good items for a quick meal.
The bedroom is decent size, with a VERY comfortable king size bed, a triple dresser, double closet, 2 bedside tables and room darkening curtains for sleeping late. All bed linens are provided and were very comfortable. Extra blankets were in the top of closet, as were a iron, ironing board, additional storage drawers, plenty of hangers, laundry basket and a drying rack. (we used the drying rack on the screened in porch for drying our swim suits and beach towels)
In a alcove between the bedroom and bathroom, is a vanity area for doing your hair and makeup. There are some shelves with books and games within the alcove.
The bathroom is good sized, with a large shower (no tub), tiled with pretty, tumbled tiles with an all glass front. Towels, washcloths, hand towels, and bathmats are provided.
The screened in porch/lanai has a nice glass & wicker bistrol table and 4 chairs.
It's a super way to enjoy your morning coffee.

The pool is clean & is 9' deep. There plenty of lounge chairs & umbrella tables. The adjacent clubhouse is bright & clean with a ping pong table, nice pool table, a desktop computer, and a small library of books to borrow.
The staff were the icing on the cake! Everyone was helpful, friendly and eager to help make your stay as pleasant as possible!!
Casa Blanca is truly a hidden gem! The pride of ownership shows throughout the property. One reviewer stated "The unit was older", which is true, but these units are solidly built, and have withstood the test of time, along with the harsh heat, salty air, and sand that reeks havoc on everything. The fact that the homeowners have continually reinvested their time and money into keeping their property in tip top shape, shows me that they truly care about their homes and aren't just in it for a fast buck. You won't find that kind of personal dedication in a chain hotel/resort. What you see is what you get here, there aren't tricky camera angles in the photos, or any "creative" description here. And because of that, we intend to quickly make our reservations for next year. And we'll be bringing the whole family!!!

Room Tip: 1.)If you prefer a oceanside, make your reservations well in advance. 2.) If you prefer a villa, l...

We just returned from our six day rental at Casa Blanca and I couldn't be more happier with our vacation. At first I was a little hesitant with Casa Blanca being so low on the list of places and couldn't find any review of our actual unit...but our stay was amazing. The front office staff and maintenance people were so friendly and addressed our needs immediately. Our screen door lock was broken when we arrived, but the maintenance staff was there within the hour to fix it and came back the next morning to fix the screen. We had an incident with the shower door on our last day and the staff was at our condo immediately to help us. The condo itself was very nice. The master bedroom had two beds - not as comfortable as the king bed, but no worries. It was great to have two bathrooms (one had a little odor to it, but we just left the fan on). The kitchen was well stocked with essentials. And we had private wi-fi. But the place to be was the LANAI! When in the condo, we spend most of our time just sitting there listening to the waves and people watching. You are so close to the beach. The property was very clean and we used the pool almost everyday. This was our first time visiting Siesta Key and I can say with confidence that I will return and will definitely stay and recommend Casa Blanca to anyone. Thank you again for a wonderful vacation.

Room Tip: You must stay in the condo vs. the villa. Your rooms are oceanfront.

Great place. It's like a hidden secret. We stayed there for two weeks in March. The staff was great. I'm not sure why the last review said they where bad but you can catch anybody in a bad mood once and a while. They where very helpful in giving us directions of places to go and see. They have a club house and have donuts on Fridays so everybody could gather and talk. People where all very friendly that stay here. Right on the beach, with nice beach chairs. . Units where clean and nice. Park your car nice and close to the door. Don't have to walk up 10 flights of stairs. Where coming back ! !

We stayed in a two bedroom one bathroom unit (c16). The unit was older but clean and nicely furnished. The heat was a bit of an issue as older and needs to be replaced. It was steps from the beach. The staff was wonderful responding to all questions or concerns.

Having stayed at Casa Blanca for 20+ yrs., it is always the same beautiful place to return to....with that white powdery quartz sand, it is the.best beach in the US with comfortable villas & only a 3-5 min. walk to the water (no roads to cross) without leaving the property. As the units are individually owned, do view the actual units on their website & inquire re. updated decor, appliances, etc. First time ever to go in the fall, but the wea. was great, no crowds & traffic to contend with & price was 'right'. Plenty of comfortable beach furniture on the beach. Do not miss Millies for breakfast !!

Room Tip: if going in the winter & securing a villa apt., those A & C villas will give you a southern...

Siesta Key is our go to beach in the winter, and Casa Blanca is the place we always stay. We stay in the villas...not directly on the beach like the apartments, but a VERY short walk to the beautiful white sand beach. Separate "villas" one or two bedrooms, most with a screened in lanai (or porch for us Northerners!). Always immaculately clean, completely stocked with linens, basic bath supplies, towels, fully stocked kitchens. Pool, rec room, laundry rooms are always clean and accessible. Very quiet area...mostly couples but there have been families there as well. (we always go in February so kids are still in school). Private beach area always clean, freshly raked every morning, many lawn chairs available and a small covered area. Have been there 4 consecutive times and won't stay anywhere else. Close to Siesta Key Village, the downtown area and the public beach as well.

Room Tip: Have stayed in both one and two bedroom villas. We have stayed in D8 once and will stay there again...

The house provided ample space for all of our kids and it was nice and clean! The decoration was absolutely beautiful and provided us with all the appliances we needed for a comfortable stay. The property is right in front of the beach which was great for quick access. The amenities of the community were absolutely great with a play room and huge pool to finish a day of fun.

Room Tip: We stayed at Unit C9 and absolutely loved it!
