Absolutely had a marvelous long weekend in January 2018! Absolutely beautiful property and hard to believe you were in Florida! Owners were wonderful to work with and extremely accommodating! Wish pots/pans were updated and shades were full covering, but nothing we couldn’t work with at all! LOVED the huge open fireplace! Thank you so much from a traveling soccer mom!!
Our family spent the weekend at the Hammock House and had a GREAT time. We enjoyed the property, the spacious accommodations, the wildlife, canoes and of course, each other! We appreciated all that it had to offer and will definitely stay there again! Jamie and his staff were helpful and accessible.

Huge home and yard. Plenty of space to move around. Loved the large back porch. Fished, played baseball, had water balloon fights, canoed and did the horseback riding, played pool, brought bikes for riding and lots of games available. Managers were awesome. Felt right at home. Close to shops and I-4. Everyone who came for the Reunion loved, loved, loved it there. Only complaint is the smell from the sulfer well water. Taking a shower in it was very unpleasant. Saw deer, turkeys, small gator, snakes and kids loved the two horses on the property. Leaving we even encountered a bear, no picture though. This will be our go to place every year.
Came down for our Spring Break, went to 3 different beaches (St. Augustine - saw the old city; New Symerna, & Cocoa - the best of the bunch), played golf at Wekiva Golf Club (great shape and for only $32 with cart) & at Cocoa Beach Coutry Club - greens were in great condition), went to Disney's Magical Kingdom one day, and saw La Nouba @ Cirque Du Soleil and spent some time at Downtoun Disney. This place was a central location for all, as well as really close to my niece's house, so we spent some time with them as well. We regret not taking the time to ride horses or spend more time on the river - only fished 2 afternoons, but caught some good bass. The wives couldn't get over the lack of city water, showers and toilets flushing certainly had the big smell of sulfur...spent 7 nights instead of 5, and got a discount ~$178 per night.
