Most museums have their items stored inside a glass case. With a request to the on site volunteer, you are allowed to pick up and touch many of the items on display. My favorite was a Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) - wow is it heavy - 16 pounds. The museum is open to the public every Saturday, 10am to 4pm. Parking is plentiful in nearby Memorial Park. There is no entry fee, but a donation is appreciated.
