The tour guide was really rude, the place has pictures in all rooms and nothing to entertain or well worth the money or time. The VIP experience, is an extremely short time, approximately 15 to 20 minutes (between make up and either a cheap crown, feather or throw attire) extremely disappointing. The staff doesn't work together, there's a lot of miscommunication and disrespect along the experience. Not Barbie like at all. Also, the crayons and little art paper, are broken, I mean really, you would think for the advertising and price that, this should be a better place, with a friendly staff and more entertaining for little girls, but by far, it is lacking in all area's of excitement and good role models for kids. SIMPLY HORRIBLE!

I took a friend's daughter to this place and by the end I truly regretted it. The prices are more then a day at the zoo and the experience lasts no more then an hour.

Although it was cool to see the Barbie Dream House to scale, there wasn't much to do. You go through the rooms with your tour guide are given only so much time in each room. Once the tour guide decides to leave you must go with and can't go ahead or back to a previous room. I was excited about the Barbie closet because the advertising said you get to try on her clothes, virtually of course. Although yes they had a small mirror that was supposed to fulfill this promise only one person can use it at a time and since there were at least 20 kids in our group almost none of the kids had a chance.

The biggest disappointment was the end. They have makeover stations and a catwalk where the kids get to play dress up have their moment in the spotlight...well you have to pay an arm and a leg for what they call the VIP experience in order to participate in that activity. What's worse is the kids can hear and see that something fun is going on even if you didn't get the VIP package which only makes them feel bad. NEVER GOING AGAIN.

My 12 year old daughter is a huge Barbie fan - so we surprised her at Christmas with a trip to the Barbie Dream House as part of Spring Break. All winter she anticipated this 'experience' - and what an AWFUL experience it was from start to finish! We were greeted (if you could call it 'greeted') at the front by 2 bored, angry looking girls in jeans and t-shirts - they smirked at us and took our tickets with not so much as a 'hello'. The displays throughout were beat up, had dead bugs scattered in the plastic display cases - many of which had tipped over and toppled dolls, accessories etc. The facility is quite obviously cheaply constructed because in many places the walls, displays, images etc were peeling away, chipped, filthy, faded, tattered and crumbling...so not Barbie! The despondent tour guides dropped the F-bomb repeatedly when backstage with the girls before the "fashion show" - lots of eye rolling and disgust with the littlest kids as well - this shocked me! Hardly a "fashion show" either - we payed extra for the makeup and fashion show - WASTE OF MONEY! They slopped makeup on the kids very quickly and then had a very few beat up looking old Halloween costume pieces for only the smallest kids (old limp wings, torn princess dresses, a beat up crown - nothing that even remotely looked like Barbie attire). The only item that fit my petite 12 year old daughter was an old beige blazer - again, no so Barbie-ish! My daughter was treated very poorly by the guide who, when asking her if she really wanted to participate in the glitter, the dress-ups, the games etc would roll her eyes and tell her to "hurry along so as to not hold up the little girls". We were hoping to find a unique Barbie item in the gift shop and were shocked that the store had all of about 10 things to pick from - the shelves were barren! Target and Walmart have a FAR better selection than the "Barbie Dream House Experience". This place was AWFUL! Even my huge Barbie fan of a daughter admitted to being very let down by the entire 'experience. Shame on you Barbie!

I was expecting to at least need Barbie. The house was more like a "set," with very little to do. My daughter could not wait to see barbies closet..... Which ended up just being pictures of clothes on the walls. The elevators are not real and don't move. We had really looked forward to our trip to the Barbie house and were very disappointed. The staff was very disorganized and scattered. Would not recommend this.
