“Great place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 June 2014

We exchanged through VRI and we were a little skeptical of the resort at first since we couldn't really find anything on it, but we were very pleased with our exchange! It's close to everything, beach is right across the street, rent a boat for 4hrs for only $20 with snorkel gear, they also have bikes you can use. Most things I the room had been updated in the last few years so it was nice! Only downfall is the restaurant right next door you can hear them empty beer bottles many times throughout the night and early morning. Other than that it was a great place would definitely recommend and would stay again!

This is a small resort in a great location. They are near the beaches and all the restaurants are just a few miles away. We mostly drove to the Bonita Spring Beach and loved the beach there. We had room 304 and I would not recommend it. We had a lovely screened in porch but in overlooked the restaurant next door and we had to listen to the A/C all day and night long. Also every so often they must have been dumping glass because that's something we heard too. So we really could not enjoy our balcony. We were told they were booked up so we were not able to change rooms. If I was going back I would make sure to ask for a different room. The people who run this resort could not have been nicer. We used the pool and hot tub after the beach. Its small but clean. We did not use the boat they have available. This would not be a good resort for children as there is not much for them to do. We had a one bedroom unit was which fine. The kitchen is very small but fine for preparing breakfast and a snack. The washer and dryer were full sized and we did use that before we left. BTW they do not have a fitness center which my husband likes to use while on vacation. So he walked and used the bike every day.

Room Tip: Try not to be in the 104, 204 or 304 side, this overlooks the restaurant.

We stayed during the week of Christmas. Weather was great. Beautiful, long & clean beach where you can relax sun bathing, shell collecting, walking, fishing or swimming and it's just across the street. The swimming pool and hot tub were renovated during the first part of our stay and it turned out amazingly. Arrangements were made for us to use one of their 3 sister resorts along Fort Myers Beach during the renos. All units have a screened in balcony. There is a sun deck on top floor where you can watch the sun rise or set. Lots of things to do nearby and shopping is within 15 minutes. We saw dolphins daily in the Big Hickory Pass, the waterway from The Gulf and Estero Bay. Staff was very approachable, friendly and helpful. We would definitely like to stay here again.

We ended up in Bonita Springs almost by accident, just decided to go somewhere... anywhere.
Couldn't get in at our first choice.
Bonita Springs? Where is that? What the heck... never been there... let's go.
Well... as they say... the rest is history. Yep... owners.
We stayed one week and had to buy.
If you enjoy a clean beach that isn't packed with people, fishing, boating, grilling and a clean place to spend the night, this is all of that and a bit more.
The beach is just across the street. It's long and clean. Plenty of room to move around or pitch your day camp. Shells for the collecting... dolphins and manatees can be spotted by the lucky beach goer... or just chill and soak up the sun.
Fishing... off the beach... off the dock... or off the pontoon... your choice.
They have pontoons for rent (for basically the price of gas)... 4 hours per rental.
Gas grills are provided... grill what you catch... or... the market is about 5 minutes away.
I'll be honest... this is an older resort... but the grounds and rooms are kept very clean. The staffers are nice and friendly, willing to help out when they can. Everybody has a balcony. The rooms have full sized washers and dryers. Basically all you have to bring is food you want to cook and shampoo.
It's nothing fancy, but for me... it's just right.

In spite of bad weather, we were very happy with our 1 bedroom unit. It was clean, comfortable and had free wi-fi (which sure helped when we were stuck inside due to heavy rainstorms). It not a fancy place but had everything we needed. They have pontoon boats available to use for the price of gas, very nice gas barbecues and although we didn't use it a good looking pool. We could look out at the bay from a screen in balcony and the beach was just across the street. The personnel were very pleasant and helpful. There is a marina restaurant (lunch & dinner okay, not great) next store and plenty of other restaurants and a grocery store within 5 miles. We hope to return sometime, hopefully with better weather.

We stayed here for a week, last week and had a lovely time.the entrance to the Resort is lacking in a sign and it is hard to see the reception area until you get closer this is a small resort with around 30 units some overe look the water some over look the pool and water and some over look the road or the small Restaraunt next door Vicki the receptionist is lovely and is really friendly and helpful. She organised a Hot dog BBQ on Memorial weekend which was very much appreciated. We also took out the pontoon boat. They let you have it for 4 hours for the cost of the gas twenty dollars. Also if you have your own boat you can bring it along and dock it in their dock. We saw dolphins in the bay every day.The beach is across the road and is wonderful. A really long beach warm water manatees floating along and dolphins too. The little Restaraunt next door is really a nice and staff very friendly.they do a fish fry on a Friday night all you can eat for 12.99 . Ou r only concern is the fact that the units do need updating, they are so out of date and tired looking and a district lack of work surface in the kitchen. It has a great big washer and dryer which was a blessing as we had been touring around so we could get our things washed. However the condition of the units would not prevent me from going back,we loved it and the owners who were staying there visited twice a year every year, they were quite a crowd.

Room Tip: Ask for a unit on the water

We are currently staying here, half way through our Interval exchange. Couldn't check in early, but room was ready at check-in time as promised. Personnel that we've encountered have been very friendly/personable. Room was very clean, well stocked kitchen (need to bring your own shampoo/conditioner/hair dryer though in bathroom).Consists of nice size living room (with sleeper sofa)/full size kitchen , separate fairly large bedroom, bathroom, and full size washer and dryer in small laundry room. Bedroom has large closet (with about 18 wooden hangers) and dresser and built-in storage shelves in wall. There is a vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board. 2 TVs. All rentals have balconies. You can borrow bicycles for free, or rent a pontoon boat for half a day for only $20 (a real bargain)! Our bed has a an eggcrate mattress on it, so the mattress could probably stand to be replaced, but it is still comfortable. There is a pool and hot tub on the property. Office closes at approx 4:30 each day. We are all given a key to access the building for after hours. Easy access to beach across the street. Short drive to restaurants and also convenient to Fort Myers and Naples. Even though it's nothing fancy,we would have no problems staying here again!

Room Tip: Some rooms look over the water, Beautiful sunrises.
