Owner description: The mirrored walls of the Tallahassee Automobile Museum enclose more than just automobiles! This 100,000 sf. facility houses cars, trucks and memorabilia of all kinds. In addition to the antique cars, muscle cars, concept cars, and trucks -- check out the eclectic collection of Steinway pianos, Remington sculptures, Case knives, Barbie dolls, boats, boat motors, children's pedal cars, and die-cast toys. Journey through history with Native American artifacts, firearms, antique cash registers, pocket watches, salt-cellars, baby bottles, silver spoons, baseball cards, antique golf balls and clubs, 100-year-old brass-bladed fans, art objects from Thailand, neon signs, stained glass, a horse from a carousel, a children's barber chair shaped like an airplane and much, much more. Part shrine, part history lesson, part pack-rat's paradise, part garage and part art gallery -- except, in this case, the art has four spotless wheels and can go from 0 to 60 faster than a Cezanne can. It's truly an amazing museum of American history.

“Cars and much more”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

Well, it's a car museum. You'll find cars and more cars and bikes, and cars...
But there's much more like knives (probably thousands), golf clubs, brass fans, weapons, cash registers, toys, pianos, outboard motors, sport collectibles.
There's something for everybody, so it's well worth a visit when you're in the area.

“Thoroughly enjoyed my morning....”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

Our hotel was near the museum and I had some free time so decided to spend the morning there. I was not disappointed. Not only are there many antique and rare automobiles but so much more, dolls, toys, sporting equipment, boats, beautiful rare pianos and other musical equipment, typewriters, cash registers, etc. Would recommend this private museum to anyone passing through or if you live in the area. Keep in mind there are many " Do not touch" signs so this in my opinion would be a difficult place for small children.

“Fun morning”
Reviewed 25 May 2014 via mobile

Family and I went here to celebrate my birthday. I am a big car guy but my wife isn't for the most part, which made me concerned she wouldn't enjoy it. They have a great selection of cars but as others have mentioned they have much more. I'm glad to say that we all enjoyed are selves and plan to return. The place is very stroller/wheel chair friendly and the gentleman who was running the place was friendly and helpful. All in all its a fun place to spend some time without spending a lot of cash.
