We have been faithful customers of Morelia's for years. We still go there regularly, but with the change of ownership at the first of 2013, the restaurant is going through a difficult transition as it tries to establish a new identity while maintaining some sense of its "roots."
The food quality is sometimes inconstent-- a ground beef entree is great one night, then so greasy it's sent back to the kitchen the next time.
The family of Morelia's customers needs to be patient. I think the new owners are on the right track, and I know they are working hard to make Morelia's the best Mexican eatery in town.
Unfortunately, for now, Morelia's is only "average". Keep coming, and provide the management constructive input to help them make the restaurant better.
