Special soups are amazingly flavorful, different from offerings at other restaurants... cream soups using squash, clams, or potatoes- and clear broths with tasty vegetables. Flavors seem to be herb-infused, and have deeply blended qualities that make them truly gourmet offerings. And everything else is very good too! Nice desserts, good service. Plan to linger. The one and only lunch I've not loved was gnocchi - but, hey, if you're a gnocchi fan you'll probably love it!
Try the outside seating when the weather is nice. It feels good to be here. Then drive a very short few miles to lots of great shopping at Governor's Square. This is a great start to a nice afternoon.
