We booked a smoking room because it was half the price of a non-smoking room. Big Mistake. First the good news. It is fairly cheap, the staff are friendly, and very close to FSU. The bad news is just about everything else. The room was dirty, walls stained from smoking, and it smelled like a chain smoker lived in it for the past 30 years. The bed sheets were filthy when we got there and had to be changed before we would use them. The second set was not as dirty, but you could see right through them. The bathroom fixtures were old and rusty and the bathroom fan did not work. The walls were not very sound proofed, so we could hear the people in the next room quite easily.
Moral of the story is, if you want an inexpensive hotel room close to FSU and don't mind a little smoke smell and dirt, this is it.
