I can't figure out why this place was so crowded....location, people on expense accounts...walking distance to hotel or condo? It was certainly a satisfactory meal but overpriced and a bit pretentious. There are better values in Tampa but if you don't want to travel....get a drink and sit by the window.....not bad at all.

Overlooks the bay and food does not disappoint. Service is relaxed and friendly. Can get busy quickly especially when there is a game.

Our entire experience at Jackson's was outstanding. It's a large restaurant but separated into multiple areas, including spacious, comfortable outside dining with a view of the water. Very attractive; in a tourist area, but prices were quite fair. I had seared scallops on a sinfully rich lobster risotto with a blood orange reduction - heavenly! He had a grouper 'stack' - grouper on top of a potato cake on top of spinach (that was extremely tasty). We'd go back in a minute.
