The food is consistently excellent and the service as well. The staff are very friendly and attentive . The carrot cake is a must for dessert large enough to share.

Everything is served a la carte and it is pricey. The salads were fresh, the appetizers hot and delicious. The steaks are served with a couple pieces of vegetable, but all sides are individually priced and served. They claim the sides are big enough to share, but not if someone has an appetite. The steaks were perfectly cooked and deliciously seasoned. If you are going out for a very special celebration and have a large dinner budget, this is your place. If you are very hungry and on a budget, you might want to skip this one.

What a terrible night at Flemings 4/22/14. We had eaten there in the past and it was very good but tonight was the worst. In fact so bad we will likely not be returning.
The petite filet at around 42 dollars came out like a 4.99 steak from dare I say some cheap steak house or a golden corral buffet.
It could not have even been a filet because it was too tough to cut or chew and full of grizzle.
You have to wonder if the cook sent that out as a joke knowing it was totally inedible just to see if someone could chew it.
The steak was replaced with a new one which was ordered medium and it arrived purple in the middle and had to be sent back to be cooked a bit more. All the while the manager was accommodating, but seriously this is a disgrace for a top level "steak house". It might have met up to Outback standards which serves even worse steaks mostly, but tonight this one outdid even the worst Outback steak. The steak also was seasoned with something that didnt taste very good. Last visit I could swear the steaks were char broiled but tonight they were just plain broiled and lousy. The caesar salad was decent, bread was stale, waitress was mostly missing in action. I can't say anything great and at the price I'd rather eat 3 meals at another restaurant or go to another top level steak house like Ruth's Chris or maybe even Capital Grille which has great beef but has disappointed in serving the steaks and sides at very cool temps too many times. Is it that hard to find a good steak house in Tampa nowadays? Bern's seems hit or miss, Capital serves cold food, Ruth's Chris is good but is not char broiled, Charley's is just not up to par, and now Flemings hits the bottom of the list serving chewy, grizzly, unknown meat and calls it a filet? What gives?

We have eaten at the restaurant a couple of times. Both times, Alicia was our server. I can't say enough about how great she is. When we go back, we will ask for her again. The steak offerings are excellent and all the food was very good. Just an enjoyable place to eat. Our guests were quite impressed with the wine list. We will be back many times.

Recent weekday dinner with three colleagues, drinks and steaks, $500 tab. We had two servers assigned, but they spent most of their time with a ten topper and left us stranded. My high priced steak was poorly cooked and tasted even worse. We were in an elevated corner booth, but the acoustics were so poor we had trouble hearing each other. Had a similar experience years ago and forgot the details. Don't think I'll make that mistake again.
