“Great service and unique brunch”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

Faf has excellent servers and great fresh food. A pleasing atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon and the place itself has a great vibe. Defiantly recommend the brunch, tho small it makes up in quality.
Will return. Way to go zack!

“Terrible food and terrible service.”
Reviewed 23 May 2014

Haven't I said before I HATE giving bad reviews? This one is really painful, because the server was relatively nice. Bottom line - this is the GROSSEST food I have paid for in a LONG VERY LONG TIME. BAD. VERY. WORST Lamb chops I have tasted in a long long time - too much pepper, and even though they were medium rare, the meat was dry and flavorless - all you could taste was pepper. There were 7 of us at the table, all business associates and all dumbfounded.

So they Flambe..., ok they flambeed cheese and the hummus had some redeeming qualities. But calamari that tastes like fried rubber, ceviche that was simply disgusting, terrible lamb... really not worth spending the time here. The place was EMPTY, and they had run out of some food items after having been slaughtered by Cirque du Soleil group. Service was painfully slow, only to serve food that is terrible and poorly prepared. I cringe to think about what the kitchen might look like. My work colleagues said the men's bathroom will give you the willies.

They have tables outside, water side. I went out to make a call, and noticed a plate on a table with 3/4 of a steak and the fries untouched. I came back in. A while later, I went outside for another call, and it was STILL there. They place had 2 servers. Dead. POOR wine list, and low shelf booze - so low, they should be on the floor and not on shelves. Maybe good for college budget cheap drink buzz... Not business worthy.

Sad. In such a tourist city, the thrill of a flambe quickly sizzles away with the extinguisher of disgust... Nope, not worth it.

“Good food and service”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

After leaving the aquarium, walking around the area, finally decided to get something to eat. The restaurant looked very inviting and it is on the waterfront. The waitress was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. The lunch portions were huge and very good. I would recommend eating here.

“Amazingly delicious and great service!”
Reviewed 5 April 2014 via mobile

We were wandering around the port after visiting the Florida Aquarium and found Flambé. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and were pleasantly surprised with the large portion! We ordered additional entrees and the stellar items were the roast lamb sandwich and the tabbouleh salad. All the portions were large - you definitely get your money's worth! Service was also amazing - our server was so incredibly helpful in making our food and beverage selections and we were never neglected. If you're looking for a cool drink, be sure to try the guava margarita! We will come back if we are ever in Tampa again!
