Clean and friendly. Cozy and comfortable. Right near the nightlife or quiet stay in your room with pizza. Lots to see and do or just curl up by the pool with a book. Wonderful stop prior to cruising which is what we did. They offer a free shuttle to the Carnival Terminal. The free breakfast was great and plenty of hot food. Service was terrific and the internet was free. Everything a person could ask for.

This place was super clean and the staff was super friendly. It is a cute little (less than 200 rooms) place right in downtown Ybor. It is within walking distance of all that Ybor has to offer. If you are an early to bed kind of person be sure to ask for a room on the east side of the hotel. There is a streetcar station on the west end that runs until 2 AM. It didn't create lots of noise but you could hear them rumbling by from time to time. Overall it was an excellent stay.

This hotel is an average Hampton Inn. The only thing it really has going for it is that it is in the historical district and within walking distance of all the popular Ybor city night life. The rooms were kind of old and worn down; however, like all Hilton chains, they did have a very comfortable bed. They charge $8.00 a day for covered parking that is patrolled by security in the evening. They do offer complimentary breakfast and of course all the coffee and tea you can drink 24 hours a day. The pool area is really kind of small and definitely wouldn't be staying here if I intended to play in the pool. The staff was friendly and always willing to help. If you want to go to the clubs and party this is the best hotel that is within stumbling distance. If you want a relaxing stay with a nice pool, I would recommend the Homewood Suites near the Tampa airport.

as others mentioned, its on the trolley line and if you are attending a conference, they will shuttle you there if you desire...not a place to take the kids unless you plan on keeping them locked up at night. Ybor city is a blast, but note it reminds me of the french quarter. Amongst the weirdness is great cuban culture and music, but you have to look for it. I enjoyed the weirdness just the same, Hotel staff were excellent and no request went unanswered. Breakfast was super, pool was fine and security was excellent, and needed. I will stay here again.

Room Tip: underground parking with key cards to go to the floors. Our room was above the trolley line but I d...

The front desk agents were awesome except Thiobani. TJ was the best though extremly helpful from check in to check out. The location of the hotel is very convienent to the trolly and all Ybor activities. The room itself was spacious the bathroom nto so much cant close the door and sit on the toilet. Lol. It wasnt as bad as others overall, id give them another try.

The property was clean (except for the pool) and well maintained. The staff was polite, kind, and nice. The breakfast was good. The hotel is at the end of old "Ybor City", which is run down section with bars, tattoo parlors, cigar shops and quite a few homeless people so I wasn't very comfortable walking around the neighborhood.

Guests could use a nearby Gym for workouts which was VERY nice.

I stayed there 7 nights. One night at about 2 am, a nearby train insisted on blowing it's whistle repeatedly which made it hard to sleep. Fortunately, it only happened once.

Swimming Pool needed cleaning badly.

I stayed one night at this hotel, but highly recommend it for the entire staff's customer service and professionalism!

Due to a very large city-wide convention (many hotels in the Tampa area were booked for months in a 30-mile radius of downtown area), I waited for more than one hour for a cab to drive me 15 minutes to a business dinner. After three different cab companies failed to show in my one hour+ wait time, Front Office Manager Mr. Matshazi personally drove me to the restaurant.

His profesional demeanor and "customer service is number one" attitude is truly impressive. The entire staff had the same "can do" attitude. I stayed only one night, but can highly recommend this hotel for their service., which is so important these days!
In fact, I found their service to be far superior to many higher end hotels I have visited for business and vacation.

Thanks again Mr. Matshazi for taking the time to help!!!
