Based on past TA reviews, I was expecting an above-average property. However, that was not the case. The good--Room was clean and quiet and the staff was excellent upon check-in.
The bad--the lighting in the room was beyond bad. I couldn't see enough to read which is utterly ridiculous in my opinion. I called the front desk to inquire about some stronger lightbulbs and was told that was the standard lighting and she was the only one working and was busy checking in a guest. So much for customer service.
The evening "meal" was supposed to be meatballs and Caesar salad. The meatballs were cold and the Caesar salad was chopped up (from a bag) iceberg lettuce. I have stayed at the nearby Residence Inn for several weeks and their evening "meals" were far superior. When going to breakfast the next morning, I checked the eggs and it was totally empty, so we simply checked out. We were planning on staying all week, but knew we could find a better property.
We are usually very pleased with StaybridgeSuites, but not this one.More
