No breakfast and close to a noisy restaurant owned by best western. Close to water but no place to walk. central location for visiting Clean rooms and confortable. direct parking access. Not a good hotel for long stays but for visiting the area, very good and close yo main Hihgway and easy to get too.More
What a pleasure when you check in to a Best Western and are greeted with smiles and helpful desk clerks. She made us feel right at home, and was helpful giving us directions to several tourist sights. The room was very nice and we had a restful sleep. Check out was fast and easy. Also, needed directions to Costco. Will come back to stay again.
Has to visit McDill AFB, and didn't want a one day rouind trip. Hotel close to base (6 MI). Accidently made reservation for a day erlier then wanted, arrive on the dayI was to check out, Magaer quickly corrected the error. Could have charged for night I wasn't there, but didn't.. Nice rooms lots of places to eat in walking distance.

Although the staff is very nice and on point the hotel was horrible. There was no hot water and very little water pressure. The conversations in the hallways were focused around drugs and other illegal activities. There was mildew by the A/C unit on the walls as well as bugs and cob-webs in the corners.

The hotel is average for an average budget. I am visiting often as my daughter goes to college nearby. The halls were musty last time I was there. This time a bit better. Terrible water pressure in the shower and the water was luke warm at best.
We enjoyed our long stay in Best Western Tampa, the place has many positive factors to consider when choosing your hotel, starting from the most important factor the SERVICE which was amazing because all the staff (manager, reception & room service) are amazing and make you feel home, the location is very convenient and close to the main shopping mall & down town & sea side plus you find everything around such as restaurants and supermarket. They have a small gym room and small pool, free parking area, WiFi everywhere, 24/7 coffee and tea, and affordable prices. but they don't have in-house restaurants except for the breakfast.
If you are looking for a big hotel to spend your day in it then this is not the right place; if you are looking for a relaxing and family environment place to stay while you spend your day outside discovering and enjoying the city then this is the right place.
