Had dinner there tonight and thought we might get good service and food since there were only 3 tables occupied. Wrong assumption on my part. The service was OK but the Mahi Mahi sandwich, the Calamari, and the French Onion Soup all were all served at less than a warm temperature. Sent the Calamari back after server offered to drop it back in the oil for a couple of minutes since it was already undercooked and the breading had fallen off. The Vodka and Cranberry drink with a slice of lime was served with mostly cranberry juice and very old piece of lime that was the last piece in the building and offered fresh lemon slices instead. What a treat that was. Would have hard time recommending this place for food, but having a drink and watching the float planes come in on the lake would be worth the trip and time.

Dog friendly outside seating area, nice view of the lake, and friendly staff. Stopped in for a cold one and got a great margarita but pricey at $7. Had the munchies, so ordered French fries and onion rings. The onion rings were a huge basket, and you could tell they were NOT the frozen type...French fries were great, also. I need to go back and try an entrée next time...

Terrible, terrible food and even worse service! I ve given this restaurant 3 tries and it was worse each time. I will not eat there again. The LAST TIME I ate there was with a group of about 8-10 people. Everybody complained about their food. One person ordered cheese fries with their wings. The fries were Luke warm at best with shredded cheese on top--unmelted! When at last the waitress came back to take the plates, the fries were complained about and she did nothing! We had to get up and search for silverware because after the food was given to us, the waitress and manager disappeared. Chicken caesar wrap was a disgusting mess of caeser salad thrown into a wrap...croutons and all! Hamburger ordered medium was brought out charred beyond recognition. Chicken quesadilla was ordered without onions...waitress came back 15 minutes later and said they cant take anything out of quesadilla...so much for freshly prepared food! Forget getting a refill on drinks! Do yourself and your wallet a favor and DO NOT eat here!

We had an outstanding initial experience. Everything was perfect. The staff is very people and pet friendly. They have their pet dining rules clearly posted on their patio, which we appreciated. The service was awesome. Several staff members came over to welcome our 2 dog's. They brought each of them a water bowl right away. They have a very appealing menu with plenty of healthy of choices. They were happy to make a couple of substitutions. The outside patio dining offers a great view of sea planes landing on Lake Dora. This restaurant is accessible by car, boat, or sea plane. We will definitely be back.
