My wife and I stayed here July 31st to Aug 4th and what a great place. We picked this place based on the reviews from Trip Advisor and wow clean, friendly, quite and a great location! All of the pictures the owners have on their web site I can say are accurate. We stayed in room 222 and it was the perfect size for the 2 of us. This room came equipped with a mini fridge with freezer, toaster, two burner stove, microwave & coffee maker. Also had dishes, pots an pans, silverware & cups. The room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels. The view was great our room had an ocean view. Couldn't ask for a better location many places to eat within walking distance a Publix grocery store and a Walgreens just across the street. Something I thought was cool was that people who bought beach toys, chairs, umbrellas and those styrofoam cooler just left them at the hotel because they couldn't take them home and the hotel has them out for use for guests instead of throwing them away we ended up leaving an umbrella. Hope to go back one day and if we do we wil be staying at the Page Terrace.

Great stay at the Page Terrace, exceptionally clean a very friendly and accomodating staff. Best bang for your buck on Treasure Island. Location was key, a short walk to Publix and close to restaurants and ice cream shops. Topped off with relaxation at the resort and beach!

First time guests- we are local, and wanted a place on T. I. right in the middle of the action, and found the rates here less than HALF of those at the Bilmar, Thunderbird, etc. but still close enough to walk to all the great eateries and shoppes (and Walgreens right across the street!)

We stayed in a "bay view" (parking lot view) efficiency with our 4-year old. Very clean and comfortable room- small and no-frills, but we felt cozy. (Bring your own shampoo, paper towels, and coffee!) Efficiency had coffee maker, toaster, fridge, microwave, and two-burner cook top. Also, basic dishes- enough to make omelets, spaghetti, beans and rice- nothing fancy...

Beautiful, deep pool with lots of cozy beach chairs, towels, shade, and floats for public use. Nice place to drink a beer in a family-friendly space and talk to cool people. Posted pool hours were weird (9AM to Dusk), but no one seemed to mind that we swam quietly late at night.

All of the guests seemed like regulars- they seem to come back year after year for vacation!

No elevator- and no warm and fuzzies from staff- kind of a serious bunch- but I can't think of any serious criticisms of this place- we had a great time and will definitely be back!

Room Tip: No elevator "Bay View" means street view

We have been staying at the Page Terrace almost once a year for the past 10 years. We love the friendliness of the place, quiet and relaxing. The hotel is on the beach, just sand between the hotel and the gulf. Also, the location is great, Walgreen's across the street and McDonalds and a few pizza places just a block or less from the hotel, also a nice bar and grill with live music also just across the street so everything you need. Staff is very nice and pleasant, the owners keep the place very clean, and the guests are all friendly so you feel very welcome. We stayed for 7 days over the 4th of July so that was a plus as we were able to sit on patio and see fireworks. I hope this place never changes.

Room Tip: All rooms have a kitchenette with microwave and coffee pot so you can enjoy some meals without havin...

We have made at least one trip to Treasure Island for the past 10 years and absolutely love it – beautiful beach on the gulf with a quiet, relaxing, and stress-free atmosphere. Previously, we have alternated between the Page Terrace and the Bilmar next door; however, the prices at Bilmar have risen exponentially and a stay there is “no longer worth the price of admission” so to speak. As a result, we have stayed at the Page Terrace for our last two trips. The hotel is as advertised, a small family-owned establishment. They have made very nice updates to the rooms’ interiors (kitchenette, bathroom) and I have found housekeeping to always exceed expectations. The hotel pool rarely feels overcrowded and the hotel itself remains fairly quiet. The only negative, smoking (while not allowed in rooms) is allowed everywhere else (depending on your room’s location, you may have smokers continually sitting right outside your window). No, this hotel is not the Four Seasons, but it doesn’t pretend to be. For what it is, and the price you pay, I don’t think there is any better option in Treasure Island. The number of repeat guests certainly attests to that fact.

General suggestions:

- Transportation: For those unfamiliar to the area, we never bother with a rental car. Once you are in Treasure Island, one isn’t needed. Shared van or private transportation from TPA is easy.

- Groceries: Walgreens and a very nice Publix are each just a block away… pick up drinks, snacks, and shampoo/conditioner (not provided), etc.

- Restaurants: 1) Sloppy Joe’s (next door) is great for a casual dinner/lunch and excellent happy hour specials; 2) Foxy’s Café (off 107th) and Ricky T’s (106th) offer a hearty/inexpensive breakfast; 3) Middle Grounds (~2 blocks down Gulf Blvd) has excellent seafood and nice happy hour specials; 4) The Pearl offers unique Italian(ish) options (107th); and 5) St. John’s Pass is a quick trolley ride away or a ~1.5 mile/30 minute walk.

- Holiday weekends: music and vendors typically set up right outside on the beach. The 4th of July fireworks are not to be missed. Each town/beach sets off their own; you can enjoy unique views of the different shows along the water.

Our initial impetus for booking at Page Terrace was the location, our family was staying in Treasure Island and it was a block away from the house they rented, was right on the beach, and was very reasonably priced. Honestly we were anticipating just using it as a place to sleep.

It’s a smaller, family-owned hotel and that really shows. People are wearing a lot of hats, from front desk clerk to housekeeping and after a few day’s you’ll know everyone that works there. Fortunately they are all outgoing and very approachable. Whether we were looking for towels, directions, or a recommendation they were always great to deal with.

The Hotel itself is located right on the beach, it has a patio area that runs the length of the hotel that looks out over the sand… you’ll see the gulf too, but it’s a fairly wide beach at this point! It’s a great place to relax; they have a good supply of beach chairs and enough palm trees & umbrellas to provide shade for most. The pool is situated in this area as well. It’s a salt water pool and is in pristine condition and a very comfortable temperature. It turned out to be a very good size for the number of rooms. We were here for 4 nights and on one of them the hotel was sold out but there was only one time that I passed the pool where I thought it was crowded. We ended up spending a lot more time on the back patio and pool area than we had expected and really enjoyed ourselves.

The room and hotel were both well maintained and clean. The rooms have a small fridge and kitchenette where you could probably do some minor cooking on the stovetop or microwave. The bed was comfortable, and the sheets like everything else were very clean. The only minor issue we had was the temperature. The air conditioner in our room was either on or off and we could not find a setting that would maintain a constant setting. We were able to work around this by cracking a window a bit so it wasn’t a huge issue by any stretch of the imagination.

Were typically a bit more snooty in regards to hotels but both enjoyed our stay. I think it’s all in what you’re expecting. So long as you don’t go in expecting a room on par with the Marriott/Hilton type you should be good. I would definitely recommend this place to a family that’s looking for a place to stay in the area.

Room Tip: They shut of the guest laundry at 9:00 PM so don't fear if you're room is across from it!

A friend recommended the Page Terrace Beachfront Hotel to me for a recent trip to the Tampa area, and I am glad that I took her advice. The owners and staff were so kind and welcoming. The property is located right on the beach and is close to restaurants, a grocery, gift shops, etc. Although this is not a luxury resort, the room was comfortable, and the motel rates were very reasonable.
