Beautiful, peaceful and affordable. My family and I decided to get away for the Thanksgiving holiday and chose the Bilmar Beach Resort. We are so happy that we did. The setting was beautiful with miles of beach everywhere we looked. We were treated to huge sand sculptures left over from the previous weekend's "Sanding Ovations" competition. Our rooms were clean, updated and overlooked the ocean. Although the hotel has two restaurants, Sloppy Joes and Bazzies Beach Bar, we also had many choices to choose from within easy walking distance, along with a Publix and a Walgreens. Our room had a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, stovetop and breakfast table, so we didn't have to break the bank by eating out every meal. Some highlights of our trip--gorgeous sunsets every night and live music at several different venues within walking distance and at the hotel to choose from. The staff was so professional, always smiling and responsive to our requests. Finally, we were impressed that management was considerate of the staff on the Thanksgiving holiday and warned hotel guests that some services would be scaled back to allow more staff to spend time with their families. Very classy. We will definitely be returning to the Bilmar!

From the start of the relationship with this hotel, my wife and I found them to be great. They were very easy to deal with on the phone and booked my room with good advice from their rep. When we got there it was a quick stop to checkin and received a discount for their bar/restaurant. Our room was on 5th floor with a balcony. the room was nice and clean with decent size and a nice balcony, small but clean bathroom and comfortable beds. Enjoyed a couple meals at Sloppy joe's which were very good as well and reasonably priced. We found the beach to be clean and well taken care of. Where many hotels of similar quality would have been much more expensive, this hotel was around $120 and worth every penny. would not hesitate to stay there again and thought the staff were really nice folks and very professional but every one of them were friendly from the front desk to the people sweeping the grounds. Very very impressed. Live in Orlando area and rarely go to the west coast but this place is definitely on our list and really enjoyed ourselves.

the rooms are completely and nicely remodeled ...the beachfront rooms are awesome...the staff is the best i have ever done business with from the general manager to the hotel maids...there are 2 pools and 2 restaurants on site
