Like others, we used this as a stopover between Italy and Calais (as were many of the other families staying at the same time). It is more of a motel than a hotel (although the rates charge do reflect this) with smallish rooms (tiny space between bed and wall on one side!) but the sofa bed came out into two single camp beds which meant a much more comfortable night for the children. There are tea/coffee making facilities which is handy if setting off before breakfast and a huge television. We had a room overlooking the car park and it was very quiet, although the other guests in rooms around were not necessarily! We arrived really late having been delayed on the motorway and therefore didn't have much option but to eat in the restaurant - however, the food was extremely good with set 2 course menu for 17 euros which compares favourably with other hotels we have stopped at. The children also ate well and service was good if a bit brisk. The actual reception staff were not that forthcoming but everything was handled efficiently (although watch out that they try to charge you for breakfast even if you haven't had it!). The location is really good - next to a huge hypermarket and close to the motorway so overall I'd recommend it to others and stay there again if we needed a stopover in the area.

A nice clean basic hotel with friendly staff, accepting of a small dog too.
The only problem was a very small gap between one side of the double bed and a wall - could have been easily solved by the hotel placing the fold out bed in a different place at 90 degrees to where it was.

Good location for a stop over when driving from London to Zurich.
AC in room not working. (was a hot night affected sleep!). Manager offered to change room, however we had allready unpacked for oursleves and 2 kids.
Dinner in restaurant poor quality compared to other Novotels (e.g. Reims), service over stretched.
Breakfast was very poor and sub standard. Breakfast bar not very clean.
Not good value for money.
However, not much choice in area and so may be forced to stay there again as is only reliable chain hotel in the area. Will raise a complaint to hotel to see if things change.
One positive thing... plenty of out door space and activities for the kids and the staff were very child friendly. Free Wifi also a nice touch.

Room Tip: Ensure AC works in room before unpacking!
