We went for breakfast, and perhaps that was our mistake. But we wanted close and on the beach. We ordered three adult meals and a kids meal. My waffle ($6.99) came ice cold. The butter spread like icing because it was so cold. After asking another waiter to get our waiter, who never checked on us after the food was brought out by perhaps a kitchen staff member, our waiter, Art, actually rolled his eyes and took it back. Must've tossed it in the microwave for a minute or so, it came back steaming, but still cold in some spots. It tased like rubbery cardboard. Probably my second mistake, getting a waffle?? I don't know. So, then we get the bill and he charged us $3.49 for a glass of orange juice which was ordered by my daughter while ordering her kids meal. So, we questioned the charge and Art said something like, "if you had gotten a pop it wouldn't cost anything, but you got juice". I picked up the kids menu and showed him the kids menu where it specifically says "includes a juice, with no refills." We'll he continued to make an excuse and said "we don't normally do that, but I'll take it off". Don't normally do what??? Abide by what your menu says??? I guess most people don't check their bills but we do and it was NOT acceptable. His attitude was inhospitable. We had planned to return for lunch or dinner but needless to say did not. The Lemon Tree was an OUTSTANDING alternative and just down the street.
