We needed a break from the searing heat, having spent hours on the beach. We were staying at the resort and decided to give the restaurant a try. Everyone from the woman who seated us, to the young lady who poured glasses of ice water, to the manager and our waitress called us by our first names... that was a first. Very personal service and attention.

The cool, somewhat dark interior was refreshing and we had a nice table overlooking the pool. We were so hot, we drank glass after glass of ice water. The artichoke and spinach dip was a great starter. The iceberg wedge salads with crumbled bacon and blue cheese dressing were perfect.

We left cool, refreshed and happy.

Happy you found an oasis at the Wave Kitchen and Bar. Can't think of anything better than a tall glass of ice water and a wedge salad to curb the heat of Vero Beach. The pictures that you added look fantastic. If you are on Instagram or Twitter at all, we'd love for you to tag us @costadeste so that we can see more.

Sincerely,

The Wave is the main restaurant of the Costa d' Este Resort Hotel. The Resort is one of the finest that I have stayed in. The food and service in the Wave do not meet the resorts level of excellence. The décor and location set you up for a dining experience. With a little tweak, the Wave could exceed our expectations like the Resort did for our entire stay.

While I am glad that you found Costa d'Este Beach Resort and Spa sensational, I am not happy with the experience that you had at the Wave Kitchen and Bar. It is not the kind of impression we like our guests to leave with. Please email me so that we can reach a resolution privately.

Sincerely,

Service was slow the night we went here for dinner but the food with a hint of cuban flare was excellent.

We also had breakfast and luncheon pool side which food and service was excellent.

Thank you for visiting us at the Wave Kitchen and Bar. And for doing so three times! Especially after having a night of slow service. I genuinely appreciate that you gave us another chance to impress you and am thrilled to know that we were able to do so. In the future, I hope that all three dining experiences you have here exceed your expectations.

Sincerely,

We had a reservation at 7h00 pm. First they seated us in front of the kitchen, we ask them to have a table away from the kitchen which they did after the manager came. We ordered wine, but had to wait for the manager, she was talking with other client. We timed her. She was there for 9 minutes.
We received our appetizer before the wine at 8h15pm. The calamari (had no calamari) only bread crumb. The Tuna tartare was so little but o.k. (2 onces of tuna and 6 onces of mango for 15$).
We finally had our main course at 9h00 pm, the steak was o.k., but all the veggie were very very salted, could not eat. The lamb chops were good, but the portion was 2 chops of 3.0 ounces each, including the bone for 34$. The service was so bad. Anyway, for a birthday night, we want it something special... It was very special, for sure we will never go there again and we will ever recommend this place. Think before going there. Dani B. from Vero Beach. I give them not even a star.

Very modern atmosphere, accommodating a large crowd for lunch. Presentation was fantastic. Located in an upscale hotel located on the ocean.

Happy to hear that we were able to accommodate a large group during lunch for you and your friends. Our chefs work hard to present a high quality product and I am personally happy to know that you left satisfied. Hope that you visit us again soon.
