Located 2 minutes from Zichron Yaacov, the atmosphere in this winery/restaurant is truly delightful.
one can choose to sit inside,or eat al fresco, under the abundant grape vines...which, of course we did.
everything was tasty and portions were generous.
the wine tasting room is awesome and the staff are very helpful, but BEWARE,there is an entire WALL of imported French chocolates also for tasting....they just gave us a plastic glove each.
the dilemna is whether to eat first and then do the wine and chocolate tasting (which we did) or visa versa.
I could happily return here once a month,no problems

This review is not about the restaurant, but rather about the wine tasting inside the main winery building.
Having lived in the area in the past, I hadn't been to Tishbi in a number of years, but I had a guest who knows his wine, so I figured, why not stop at the winery. Inside, we found the wine-maker's assistant, a young girl named Ronny, who really knows her wine. Ronny offered us the wine tasting with chocolate - a sample of six wines, each with a matching dark chocolate to help bring out the taste. At 30 shekels a person (Nov. 2013), this is quite a bargain for Israel and for what you get. The six tastings included some very good wine, and my guest, who really knows his wines, was very impressed. He asked for an additional tasting of the Carignan, which was exceptional, and was happily given another nice portion. Finally, we were given a bonus tasting of a feature high-class wine.
Altogether, this was an excellent and tasty attraction, and ask for Ronny for an educating experience.

This delightful cafe attached to a gleaming winery and a stylish gift and artisan cheese shop and bakery serves a hearty breakfast on a terrace overlooking the estate in the dappled shade of overhead vines. The food is straightforward but delicious, accompanied by crusty bread and hot strong coffee. The shakshika (eggs in a spicy tomato sauce) is especially delightful. There are some wonderful looking pastries in the cool display cabinet, but who could manage one after such a huge breakfast. Maybe you could take one home for tea. Service is cheerful and efficient. Wider menu for lunch and dinner. Prices moderate. And they were happy to pack up some food to take away for our friends' impending flight.

We try to visit the Tishbi winery whenever we are nearby. Breakfast is our particular favourite meal with an excellent choice of fish and vegetarian food. Lunch is also excellent with a good choice of home made pizza pasta and fish dishes. You can pop into the neighbouring building and taste ghe wines which are very good. Also they sell sour dough bread, Valrhona chocolate and cheeses.
Service is relaxed and friendly. The winery is on the road between Binyamina and Zichron Yaakov. Tishbi also have a restaurant in the centre of Zichron which is nice and does similar food although we like this atmosphere more.

Warm atmosphere underneath grape vines. Simple servings. If you eat at the restaurant, you get a discount at the shop.
