Went for lunch the food was wonderful, in fact it was some of the best food we have ever had. The hummus was freshly made, the eggplant and stuffed grape leaves wonderful ,can't wait to go back.

“Best Middle Eastern food in WPB”
Reviewed 14 February 2014

We love this place and go there all the time. The chicken agora is excellent. My wife gets the greek salad with chicken. The owner is very hands on and is there all the time, personally cooking the food. ALso, it is in a cool Northwood location right on the strip. Would highly recommend.

“AWESOME”
Reviewed 27 January 2014

We selected this restaurant for the style of cuisine and invited business associates. The best way I can put it is this restaurant helped me close the deal. WoW. Awesome Turkish cuisine, eclectic yet comfortable interior, the live music and the belly dancing were a nice sweet surprise. As a restaurateur, I loved watching the action of the wide open kitchen ...
My hat is off to Agora; Job Well Done.
BTW ... we went back, with more friends, the next day for lunch (and will be back again). Lastly the old Palm Beach location was an added +.

“Food was great but service was unprofessional, 3 and half stars”
Reviewed 19 January 2014

My brother and I had a early dinner last Saturday night and the food was very good. It was not very busy. The space is nice and we enjoyed the solo musician. My problem was in the training of the wait person we had. We were attended to promptly and seated at a nice 4 top for the 2 of us. My brother ordered the lamb chops and I had a couple of apps. Nice olives and warm pita came next After a 20 minute wait another server come by to let us know they were out the lamb chops and my brother had to order something else. Smartly, he chose the lamb kabob which cooked quickly and were served after about a 35 minute wait. Other dinners who came in after us were on dessert by the time our meals were served. The management clearly needs to brief the waitress if a dish is out stock, which is SOP, plus the kitchen had another opportunity to fixed it upon seeing the ticket. No apology or good will gesture was made. Had this been handled smoothly at the beginning we would have really enjoyed the meal but how we fell through the cracks when there were only 2 other parties dinning I can't figure.

“This might well be the best Turkish food on this side of the Atlantic!!!”
Reviewed 5 January 2014

A Turkish friend in Philadelphia recommended Agora Kitchen. As one who frequently travels to Turkey and had a great meal in Istanbul a mere two weeks ago, it would take something special to impress me. But Agora Kitchen did it and did it in a way that showed great talent in a most enjoyable setting.
Located in a transitional area of West Palm Beach that may seem a bit “iffy” to some, antique shops and other restaurants along with Agora Kitchen are clearly pioneers. But back to food…
The best way to enjoy Turkish food is to have lots of small plates or “mezes”. We started with a Lentil soup that was simply outstanding! At $4, it was not only excellent, but a nice size serving. We then moved on to sharing the Piyaz salad, a mix of cannellini beans, arugula, cherry tomatoes and more. Again, Agora Kitchen came through with flying colors. We decided to pass on what are very likely wonderful meat plates to enjoy a variety of other smaller dishes, ranging from; “roasted whipped eggplant” which had a nice smoky flavor; fresh artichoke hearts; fried calf’s liver which was a highlight…even if “organs” are not your favorite; “Kayseri pastry” which is phyllo rolls filled with Turkish feta cheese and fresh parsley…all enjoyed with a nice glass of Agora’s house red, a nice California Cabernet.
For dessert, we sampled two desserts, a traditional baked Turkish custard pudding and also an outstanding flam. The food is authentic Turkish with a décor of high ceilings, Turkish rugs and ceramics and the music of Turkish contemporary singers like Sezen Aksu.
Service was excellent…friendly and professional, prices that represent good value and most of all, a culinary treat. We drove forty minutes to enjoy a dinner which I look forward to doing again on my next trip to Florida. Agora Kitchen has all the attributes to be a destination for all foodies in the area.
