Love mom and pop places. Driftwood food quality has declined over the last year or so. We have retried them on 4 various occasions and have not been impressed. Also we have called for take out only to arrive and find it not ready. So sad becasue we like to support the local guys.

Interior needs updated seats ripped and torn. Food good. This is an old restaurant from decades ago.

Food is edible. Service is hit or miss. Menu is misleading. Breakfast is the shining light. Not a place to go out of the way for.

Stopped by this place while staying at Devils Den to scuba dive. Doesn't look like much but the food was yummy, huge menu with some good old country favorites. Fried pickles and chicken and dumplings. Mmmmm, the service was great, made us feel like we were regulars. :) def reccomend.

Driving home from Cedar Key, we were looking for food and noticed many cars outside the Driftwood around 1:30 PM. Taking the chance that lots of cars meant good food, we stopped for lunch.
The service and food were very good and the ambience typical of a small town 60's restaurant. Culturally diverse, friendly with daily specials and well worth the stop.
I might not drive out of my way to go again, but would definitely stop again if in the area.
Try it, you'll like it!
