“Father's Day”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

I took my father out today for Father's Day and I ordered the steak fajitas excellent came with sour cream guacamole n poco de gallo very fresh. He however had the pupusas and found a very interesting surprise as while he was eating he found a hair inside his food. Needless to say we will not be back. Ruined my fathers day

“Authentic Central American at it's best”
Reviewed 26 November 2012

My husband and I drive from West Palm just to have the soup. For $11.99 you get a caldron of soup enough for two, filled generously with clams, mussels, squid, crab, shrimp, and a homemade tortilla and rice. We also like the "jugo naturale" ..Tamarindo, narajana, and others. Top it off with a nice cup of coffee (Salvadoran or traditional Cuban coffee with milk). The food is uniquely from El Salvador but resembles other foods found in Central America. A few other times we've had some of the meat dishes that were also excellent. You'd be hard pressed to find a cleaner, nicer, authentic restaurant than this one. Most of the food entrees are around $10-13. A bargain for the quality and quantity that you get. It's the kind of place you eat at that you want to take your time at, savoring everything. Lots of local Salvadorans eating there too and a few gringos so you know it has to be good. Echo the other reviewers-the place is immaculately clean.

“Pupusa heaven!”
Reviewed 5 November 2012

Great food, great service, great prices and convenient. We love the food here and the friendliness of the staff. The pupusas are so flavorful and the combinations available provide great flavor sensations. A little of El Salvador in our neighborhood!

“Best seafood soup ever!”
Reviewed 2 August 2012

I was in Ft. Lauderdale and found this wonderful place. Staff made me feel very welcome. Ordered the Seafood Soup and was blown away by the generous portion, appealing appearance and incredible flavor of this item. It is served with a side of rice (which I tossed into the soup as the seafood dwindled) and a tortilla. Generous amounts of schrimp, crab, clams, mussels, calamari, squid and whitefish "swimming" in a light fresh tomato broth. Incredible! I was in town for 5 days and hit this place 3 times. It is worth the 10-15 minute drive from FtLauderdale.
