“Priceless Jewel”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

This small museum houses the largest collection in the world of Louis Comfort Tiffany glass, jewelry, paintings, architectural elements and personal items from the Tiffany family. The building was built specifically to house this collection. There is a lovely gift shop. Allow plenty of time to enjoy the collections at a leisurely pace. You won't find this anywhere else.

When in central Florida, do not miss the "Tiffany" museum. It is a gem. It is free some Friday nights.

“Central Florida's "Hidden Gem"”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

Up at the north end of the very tony Park Avenue sits the Morse Museum of American Art. Curated by the very capable Lawrence Ruggiero, this outstanding small museum houses one of the preeminent collections of the assorted works produced by Louis Comfort Tiffany Studios at the end of the nineteenth - and beginning of the twentieth century. In addition to the glass, lamps, pottery, metals, jewelry, furniture and paintings, the museum also houses the extraordinary chapel designed for the World's Columbian Exhibition, held in Chicago in 1893. Also on view is the "Daffodil Terrace" - and a group of room vignettes from Tiffany's Long Island home "Laurelton Hall". In addition to the Tiffany holdings, the museum has an outstanding collection of American Art Pottery, examples of various lamps, glass and pottery by European makers, and a modest collection of Nineteenth century American paintings, housed in a beautiful modern building. All in all - a very welcome "culture spot" - and well worth a visit

“Unbelievably gorgeous stained glass.”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

If you're in Winter Park, definitely take in the morse Museum. The most beautiful stained glass you'll ever see including a replication of the Chapel that Morse built. There is other art work as well that you'll enjoy too!
