This was a most unexpected surprise. Had to be in Orlando for work and read a tiny column in a magazine about this museum. Am delighted I did. I drove to Winter Park, a lovely old town which was fostered by Morse an extremely wealthy Industrialist. This museum was built in memory of him by his granddaughter and started with her own private collection.
Although a small museum it has the most amazing wealth of Tiffany’s work from his private home. There is a chapel he designed and built for the Chicago World Fair which is just stunning. Spent a wonderful 2 1/2 hours.

This is one of the best places to take an out of town guest or a date after walking along Park Avenue in the hot sun. The museum has fun artifacts to see and different themed rooms to stroll into. Entry fees are minimal, less than $5 a person normally and the air conditioning feels great once you walk in. You could spend 15 minutes or 45 minutes depending on what you like to do. There is a seating area if you want to sit and chill out for 20 minutes overlooking a garden area.

I am a member of this museum and have visited several times. I recently went for a special exhibit and it was spectacular. I also noted that several of the galleries have been updated nicely and you can spend a nice afternoon in this little Winter Park gem of a museum. Be sure to visit the chapel and the re-creation of Laurelton Hall. You will be witness to the most stunning collection of stained glass anywhere in the world under one roof. If you are visiting Winter Park, this is a great place to stop after lunch or before dinner on the Avenue.
