Burger was DELICIOUS! You get a lot of food. My husband and I have decided we will split an order of fries or onion rings on our next visit. Bring cash. No cards. They do have an ATM so not a big deal.

My only regret is that I did not go sooner. Really good burgers that are huge. Get 2 burgers, split a fry and try a slice of pecan pie. The burgers are made to order and they only take cash. Well worth the stop. Same family has owned it for 40 something years and you can tell. Sue is usually there and you can say hello to her.

We had burgers, and why not, with that tag line. They aren’t lying. The burger marinade isn’t overwhelming, and they aren’t greasy. The beans were good, but all 3 of us loved the potato salad. Enough mustard to make it delicious, and no sour cream, easy on the mayo. Great malts and flavored Cokes, too.

No cards accepted ... but the have an ATM available :( The bacon cheesburger was large and flavorful with toppings you would expect. Crinkle cut fries are cooked well, but basically unseasoned. The coleslaw is fantastic and a nice complement. Cons: all disposable plates and utensils... burger was serviced in a 6 inch paper plate which made for messy eating. We watched an employee wiping off tables, who dropped the rag, picked it up and proceeded to clean tables with it. The wall in the booth we sat at was covered with food splashes and looked like it had been some time since it was wiped down. Food... 5 star. Cleanliness 1 star.

Sue makes a good burger for sure, but it takes while. This a no frills burger and fixings but you came for the meat right ? Fries are average, and the coleslaw wasn’t my favorite.
