We stopped by the Brunswick market on a Saturday morning and came home with great stuff: NC peaches, tomatoes, homemade marinara sauce and locally-grown pork. We resisted the urge to load up on baked goods but they sure were tempting. I recommend going on a summer Saturday - several vendors and lots of produce. Reasonable prices, too. I've been to larger markets and this one wasn't huge but the quality of what was on offer was terrific.

If by chance you happen to find yourself in Brunswick Georgia on a Saturday afternoon, take a small trip down to the waterfront. They are you’ll find a small but beautifully decorated farmers market and bizarre. They’re selling many, many great items from the local area. I suggest you try or young lady’s booth who sells some mouthwatering deserts. Her name is Debra as she is an excellent chef. All of desserts look delicious but I had to settle on a strawberry shortcake. It was delicious! They’re also local honey‘s barbecue and some pork products. So enjoy yourself!!!!

A short family getaway to see the sights in and around Brunswick, Ga. The farmers market is used for a lot of events, and is open free to the public. With plenty of space for the kids to play and the dogs to run. The dogs must be on a leash and cleaned up after. Adhesion to the market is a restored light house and the keepers home, also the pot that the first Brunswick stew was cooked in. There is a dock at he Brunswick Bazaar and ships of all types and kinds tie up there for short visits. While we were there a 3 mast schooner was there and the owner allowed people to come on board and visit. There was a privately owned older military ship tied up there. A nice place for a short visit.........
