Walked in, the receptionist ignored us for the better part of three minutes while she had a conversation with a maid. Room smelled horrible, very much like stagnant water. Zero water pressure or hot water- for my entire stay. Jacuzzi suite (paid extra) couldn't be used due to zero water pressure and no hot water. WiFi was spotty, at best. WiFi kept cutting off. Changed rooms (another Jacuzzi sweet) with the exact same problems. Ohh yeah, the receptionist argued with us before giving us the new room. Beds were comfortable. The ‘snacks’ in both rooms were woefully overpriced and well past their expiration. The breakfast was subpar. The French Toast Sticks were lukewarm and hard (far too long in the microwave). Also, the attendant left the door to the kitchen area open, which under normal circumstances should not be allowed. However, upon seeing the preparation area, I was relieved it was left open; the site convinced me to seek my breakfast elsewhere. Lastly, there is a sign in the lobby that states breakfast cannot be taken back to guest rooms due to ‘health restrictions’, or some such thing. However, there was no issue with my buying food and taking it to my room the night before. It would seem only breakfast dishes represent a clear and present danger in Brunswick, GA. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, ever.
