Common chain-motel. The Lobby is a spacious room, staff is friendly.
The whole property is very clean. In the lobby you find 6 breakfast tables and several couches and TV. In the back of the lobby building is the indoor swimmingpool. You can reach it from the lobby and from outside. It is spacious too, with room to relax and a few plants.
Adjacent is the motel building, two stories high – the rooms facing east and west. We got a room facing west – facing the interstate.
Interstate 75 is busy during night so it is rather noisy. Try to get a room facing east – this might be less noisy. The rooms are in best condition, seem to be newly renovated. Very clean and spacious enough.
We had 2 double, a table, 2 chairs and board with TV. There is a refrigerator and microwave – we had to unplug it – the refridgerator was a roaring monster. Very noisy while cooling. Hair dryer and ironing board are standard equipment, there is a laundry room in this motel.
Bathroom and sink were newly renovated and clean. Motel provides 2 soaps and a shampoo for you. You’ll find a tiny coffemaker in your room. As said above the motel is close to the interstate – though not directly adjacing – distance might be half a mile – nevertheless you can here the traffic noise and see the cars far away. Adjacent the Best Western is Holiday Inn and Mc Donalds you can walk to. On the other side of the street is Burger King and Peach Outlet Mall – you can walk to too if you dare to cross the street. Motel walls are thin – someone arrived 3 in the morning and we could hear nearly every word – but I think this is common in american motels.
Breakfast was good. But no one cleaned the breakfast tables so you had to put your stuff on the crumbles of the former guest. For breakfast they had toast and jam, cornflakes, donuts, milk kept in a fridge, tea, coffee, juice and what was best bananas, apples and oranges. We were content with this hotel and would stay there again.
