“Room stay”
Reviewed 18 February 2013 via mobile

This hotel is over priced. When we called for a reservation we asked the desk person if the hotel was quiet. He said yes. What. Else would he say. When we made the rsvp we asked for two rooms with king beds. After arriving we went to the room. And had double beds. Decided to stay as we were too tired to move to another room This hotel had major truck traffic. Then we listened to a train going thru every two hours. After a 9 hour day of travel. This is a Choice hotel which i will report as below expectations. I will mark it off our stay list.

Guess we should check parking lot next time as no one was there.

Stopped by to get a room. The billboard along the interstate said 45.00. I was told that all the 45.00 rooms were sold out yet as I sit here in the parking lot, there she a total of 4 cars in the lot. It is 10:15 pm , so you would expect more cars to account for the sold out specials. This is not around any where that all their customers might be.

I don't normally stay at Quality Inns, but this looked good and was close to a plant that I was working in. The rooms are all refurbished (me or my crew have stayed in about four different rooms), the beds have the white duvet style covers, very clean. Bathrooms are granite countertops, new tile floors, granite shower surround. New carpet, furninture includes a work desk, sofa with coffee table, flat screen TV. Excellent, surprised that it isn't full all the time!

Room Tip: King rooms are spacious, reasonable prices.

The original motel I wanted to stay in was a Sleep Inn. I am glad that this one was where I spent the night. It is back off the main road and newly remodeled room was very nice. Clock radio did not work. Staff was very cordial.

We stayed here for an overnight stay on a trip to Florida. This place is right off the expressway. It is in an isolated location about 4 miles from downtown Cartersville that seems very safe. We paid only $62 for one night. Oddly, when we checked in, we asked the counter help about one of the more popular local diners. He said that it had gone out of business. But we found the diner to be open on our trip to town.

They gave us a room that was wedged into the corner between the two wings of the hotel. The parking spaces in front of the room were laid out diagonally and made parking in front of our door impossible. The room was fairly clean, but it reeked of some sort of deodorizer spray. Also, I had to move the corner of the matress to retrieve the remote control for the TV. When I did, the area below the bed was filthy with debris, crumbs, and...yeeuk!

Also, there is a railroad very close. The noise of the trains is kinda annoying. They had a pool there, but since it was March, it was closed. Continental breakfast does not open until 6:30. No local newspapers in the lobby.

An older property, but the room was in very good shape, had a mini fridge, microwave, iron & ironing board, coffee maker. The breakfast, however, was a bust!

My husband & I stayed the night at this hotel for one night on our way home from a trip to Florida. The clerk was courteous, the price was fair and the king room was clean & comfortable. The hotel is right off highway 75, which made it convenient to get back on the road when we left in the morning. The only slight drawback was that there was a train track nearby, and we heard trains going by at night.
