Okay, so we are at the end of a long day of driving and walking at altitudes between 8,000 and 10,000 feet and it is time for something good to eat and a little relaxation. We notice a counter in the lobby of the motel that extols the virtues of Ebenezer's Barn and Grill. We find out that the meal and the show are less than $30 combined. Have to say we got our money's worth. Not the best meal you ever ate, but not bad for BBQ fare. biscuits, slaw, cowboy beans, steamed veggies, and both chicken and pulled pork with lot of BBQ sauce, plus dessert. Adult beverages were a little extra, but all the soft drinks, coffee and tea were included. And that is just the meal. There is also a "dinner show." Right, it is a tad on the cornball side, but there were a couple of fairly talented members of the group and they put on a western flavored show with lots of classic western songs. The show was mainly for the busloads of foreign tourists that flock to the (Bryce Canyon National) park, but out of about 400 guests, there were 15 or 20 of us from the US. We enjoyed our evening and would recommend it to any who might enjoy some good clean fun and a tasty BBQ meal.

We were part of a tour group who dined here on our first nite. Those who ate the chicken and the pulled pork ended up being sick for the next 2-3 days.
Definitely not worth the visit !

Strange set up...line up for plates, line up for food, line up for drinks and wait for somebody else to take the drinks w/you to the table ????

$50 for dinner for two and the show. Food was decent and the show was a hoot, performers were top notch and it lasted just about two hour, perfect. Hokey, but you have to go, make sure to get up and dance.

We were staying across the road in a hotel and on one evening our group leader booked us in at this place. Definitely not worth the published $32 cost (even more for steak!)

People were seated in batches after queuing at the door. Rather like attending school dinners! Once inside, and after queuing for a long time we had to select a plastic plate and pass along the line in a food counter. Honestly, the food was not up to much. And it wasn't hot. The sweet course was a dry sponge cake with a dollop of artificial cream on top.

As for drinks – we had to queue for a glass of wine or a beer. What a crazy arrangement!

The problem is, there aren't many places to eat at Bryce Canyon, so they have a captive market.

PS – there was a cowboy show and singing but a lot of that was going on whilst we were in this enormously long queue to get our food or drink!

Ebenezer's is pure cowboy fun. Country cooking and toe-tapping music with great personality performers - we loved it. The staff is well organized so there isn't a lot of waiting in the buffet line. The food was really very good. I ordered the steak and worried it would be tough, but it was delicious. Sides were good too. But the music is what makes this place extra special. These guys clearly enjoy what they do and it shows, and their enthusiasm is contagious. Most important, they are all talented. Older brother Seth is a wicked fiddle player; younger brother Aaron does a mean guitar; and Seth's wife (sorry I forgot her name) has a beautiful voice plus she great on the bass. There were other entertainment options for us, but we were very glad we chose Ebenezers!
