A large and in some ways 'motel-like' place which we didn't immediately love but which gave us a good base for visiting the stunning Bryce Canyon National Park. Food options were a bit limited but acceptable and check-in staff were pretty disinterested. Nevertheless, the room was large and clean with good wifi and a powerful shower. Unfortunately, we looked out on to a car park and were awoken early in the mornings by reversing trucks - not really ideal. Plenty of car parking space though and good facilities such as a pool and shops (we used the shop but not the pool). The shuttle for the National Park is easily accessible from just outside the hotel and proved a good way to travel in to the sights of the canyon.

We booked Bryce View Lodge but when we arrived we informed we had been upgraded to a room at Ruby's Inn just across the road (Best Western) Set in a motel configuration 100m from the main building we quickly found a parking space in front of our room. It was clean and spacious with two double beds, TV, microwave, fridge etc. The pool (18m) is located near to the main lobby which meant a bit of a trek....and there is only a toilet/shower to change in if you go across clothed rather than in swimming gear. Overall the hotel is very pleasant and ideally situated for Bryce Canyon...if you don't want to drive in to the park a shuttle appears regularly outside the hotel to ferry you into and around the park. The hotel is also well located for a few local restaurants and shops or you could choose to eat at the hotel's restaurant. Gas/Petrol station is just by the hotel.

Room Tip: Free WIFI in your room is a welcome bonus to keep in touch with the world

The hotel is very close to the entrance to the parks. It's very large and can be overwhelming to some people, also it's very busy ( we counted 9 tour buses the night we stayed). Hotel was a little dated, but overall no complaints. There are plenty of places to eat connected to the hotel, and there is a small grocery store as well.

Well, you do't have that much choice near Brryce Canyon, do you? So stayed there 2 nights. Room had a terrible smell, old carpet, luckily it was summer and windows could be opened, would have left if it was winter!
No Wi-Fi in the rooms, forget it! But you do pay for it! When you complain, they just say: ah, sorry.
We went to the over heated business center, which luckily was deserted.
It was nice to have a family room, but that's it. It's kind of industrial, very big hotel, you sleep Ruby, you eat Ruby, you shop Ruby...
We asked for a quiet room: got one just by the stairs and next to room service storage room... talk about quiet! And the second morning, there was work being done with a noisy device just outside our room... thanks.

We staid in this hotel for two nights. WiFi doesn't work of you stay in one of the rooms on the corners of the lodges. Personel on the desk is unfriendly and doesn't do anything if you have a complaint.
Rooms are very noisy and sober.
You Cannot make a reservation for the restaurant so you have to wait untill a table comes free! Every evening there was a row of 50-70 people waiting to go to diner!
At breakfast there is a buffet but no milk so you have to buy the milk for the cornflakes! Coffee and juices Also have to be paid separately. (Breakfast buffet Costs 10,95)
We felt like animals on a big farm!
Never again!

Room Tip: Go to the other Best Western hotel across the road!

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us at Ruby's Inn. We do have free WiFi and if you experience difficulties please address a manager at the front desk for assistance. We do have many guests and we apologize that you found our restaurant busy. Often if you are able to visit prior to the dinner rush or after you will find the wait times to be minimal!

We appreciate your comments and hope to have you visit again! If we can be of assistance in the future, please contact us at 435-834-5341.

Spent one night here in August 2014, on our way to Bryce Canyon National Park. Rooms were spacious and clean, great view from the room as well. Did not go across the road for the Rodeo or Cowboy dinner, but instead had dinner in the in-house restaurant, which was absolutely amazing (order steak!).

During our 18 day road-trip we saw many hotels/motels, but this one was absolutely the best - and affordable too!

Would certainly recommend this!!
