We have stayed 4 times and enjoy each more than the previous. The owners and staff are very welcoming and make us feel a part. The grounds are beautiful and inviting. Fine quality amenities including sheets, soaps, robes. Top dining both breakfast and dinner. The feel of history surrounds you. Folks you meet become friends quickly because they also feel a part of Glen-Ella.

Room Tip: We like darkness at night so rooms with only one window are best for that.

This was our third trip to Glen-Ella and we were delighted again. Ed and Lucy have a terrific getaway with 5 star service. We head to Glen-Ella to attend the Georgia Wine Weekend. From the time you arrive the staff make you feel welcome as they personally walk you to your room. The grounds are wonderful to take a stroll on and see the country side and the porch is wonderful to sit back and relax. The dining room has a very upscale menu and the food is always terrific. I highly suggest you visit if you want to unplug from the world and relax.

Room Tip: The Penthouse suite is the premier room. It is the largest room and has a private balcony as well as...

The Glen-Ella Springs Inn catered for families escaping the summer heat and humidity of Savannah and Charleston in the pre-AC era. After some years of disuse, it was restored to cater for those wishing to get a brief break from the speed of modern living and enjoy some country hospitality and good food.

We very much enjoyed our stay and will go again. If you are in the area, consider a visit to Tallulah Gorge.

I had planned this retreat for a group of us that like to scrapbook. This is our 8th year to use Glen Ella. We used the conference room. It is well lit, roomy, has a refreshment area, lots of window. The staff keep it clean and check on us often. The food was excellent and i would highly recommend it. The staff was helpful, professional and attentive. We will return again next year!

Staying at Glen Ella Springs always make me feel so good. The rooms, food and the precious people who run the Inn, are all delightful. You can't miss on this experience. Getting away from the world's race of pressure and stress, you will find a place of peace and rest. No outside connection unless you want it. Our Valentine experience was very special. Thank you Ed & Lucy

Went looking for a little place where the wife and I could be away from the everyday life, and Glen-Ella Springs delivered. Turning off the main road, could feel stress slipping away as we wound our way into the hill, then the transition onto the dirt road and the world was left behind. The owner and staff were incredible, the room was visually perfect, from the distressed furniture to the wood on the ceiling. Dinner was an experience worth the trip in itself: I had the beef tenderloin which was very good, and the wife had the vegetable Wellington which was quite simply the best non meat item I think I have ever had-the smoked tomato sauce that the pastry sits on is special. The molten chocolate cake was our dessert and it did not disappoint. Breakfast the next morning was another taste delight. Only thing we will do different next time is go with a bigger room (the queen is beautiful if a little tighter than I prefer), but there will be a next time.

Room Tip: Queen rooms are compact, but bathroom was still spacious

We had a great night visit for Valentines day. Wonderful room, friendly staff, delicious dinner and breakfast. If we return, I would have to stay in the penthouse though, because I'm a very light sleeper. They also have a beautiful pool.
