“Amazing place to get married!”
Reviewed 12 June 2013

I got married at Glen Ella, and it was everything I dreamed of and more! From the first time I met with Luci I knew I was in good hands. The months planning were a breeze, she understood my vision and was willing to do just about anything I asked for. We had both the Rehearsal dinner and ceremony/reception on the grounds and they were both absolutely beautiful and the food was amazing. All of our family and friends were able to stay at the inn so from the moment they got there they did not have to get back in their cars! Anything you asked Luci, Ed or their staff for was done right away, first class service. If you are looking for a weekend getaway or a place to hold an event or wedding that is not your typical ”factory wedding” this place is for you!

Very well run country inn with delicious food and warm hospitality. Older property with a few expected inconveniences of a lodge built in the 1800's, but you cant run it much better than these people do. Highly recommended.

This was an A+++++++++++++++++++ event at an A++++++++++++++++++ facility. The owners are real professionals with a personal touch. They have tremendous attention to detail. They give a lot of bang for the buck.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellant

My husband and I stole away for one night at the Glenn-Ella Spring Inn, and it was just what we both were hoping for. Our room was lovely and the grounds were gorgeous. After walking around a bit, playing some horseshoes, and grabbing a complementary snack and drink at the garden house, we sat in the rockers on the porch and stared off across the meadow for hours. It was warm enough for a late afternoon swim in the pool and more lounging before our 8pm dinner reservation.

The food at the restaurant was beautifully cooked and service was excellent. My only tiny gripe: someone really needs to update that menu.

The buildings of the inn are old (late 19th/early 20th century). That's a part of their charm. It also means that noise proofing is an issue. It didn't bother us a bit, and we'd go back in a minute; but it is worth noting.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that faces the meadow/pool, rather than the road.

This is one of the very few venues that lives up to that hype. Ed and Luci work hard to make your stay special. Rooms individual, food great, service with care. Just a great place to chill and love the cat!

We spent one night here, and we will definitely return. The room was very nice and clean, the bathroom was great and the view was outstanding. There was a wedding at the inn the following day, so it was decorated with lots of twinkle lights, and the whole ambiance was special. We ate in the restaurant and were pleased with the selection as well as the service. The plating was clever, but the portions were a little too big. My husband had the pumpkin soup, and it was too thick. It was just too big a serving to have with an appetizer as well as an entree; however, that could have been poor ordering by my husband. The bacon-wrapped scallops were to die for, and there were three of them to split, the perfect number. The staff was very welcoming and caring and even mailed to me the pants that I left in the room. The grounds were great for strolling hand in hand.

Room Tip: We stayed room 16, but I think that all of the rooms face the same direction and have a great view.

Thank you for all you did at Glen-Ella springs! It was a wonderful experience. Room number #27 (family room) was amazing. The food was excellent. The wedding couldn't have been any nicer. My husband and I loved the experience!!

Room Tip: Choose the rooms that have the view of the pool.
